I have a really hard time keeping from biting my nails- this stuff tastes horrible and will keep you from biting your nails if you keep it on them. It will come off in about two good showers, though. And it will also come off in food if youre not careful!!

This product is not worth it. Clear nail polish will do the trick.

  • Great Product That Works! 4 Star Rating
You use Mavala like nail polish. But it has very bitter taste. So biting nails becomes very untasty. I just wish Mavala would not shine. Shiny nails are okey for woman, but for a man this is usually not okey

  • By Far The Greatest!!!! 5 Star Rating
My 3 year old was sucking her thumb so hard that we noticed a large shift in her teeth within a month. Nothing seemed to work, so we heard about Mavala and decided to try it out. The first night she was up several times because she could not sleep without her thumb. The second night was better. She completely stopped sucking her thumb with only two applications!!! Her teeth have now shifted back to a normal position. It is absolutely the greatest product.

  • Works Like Magic 5 Star Rating
Our 6 1/2 year old was a chronic thumb sucker and was on the road to serious dental malformations. We tried the product, and she only put here thumb in her mouth one time. Immediately spit it out in disgust at the unbelievably bitter taste, and has since never even brought that thumb anywhere near her mouth. This product works. Thank you so much.

  • Mavala Is The Greatest Thing Ever 5 Star Rating
Hello, My 5 year old daughter has been sucking her thumb since she was born. We have tried EVERYTHING to get her to stop (praise, punishment, yelling, time outs, pleading, begging, etc.) and nothing worked. I ordered the Mavala, and for the entire 1st day of her wearing it on her fingernail, my daughter was trying to spit the bad taste out of her mouth and drinking lots of water. The next day was better, and, in a couple of weeks, she stopped sucking her thumb all together!! Mavala is the greatest thing ever made to stop a child from sucking their thumb. Thanks folica.
