As some of you said, the two problems of this product is that yelowish finish and that isnt thick enough. In any case, i still think is a good product, specially as a base, previous to the nail polish.

This really is a wonderful product. I am well up in years and have heavy duty ridges - Mavala Ridge Filler really "fills" the bill. Thank you.

  • Good Product For Guys 4 Star Rating
OK.. 1st off, Im a guy and I enjoy taking care of my nails... there Ive said it. I have a couple nails with ridge issues and thought Id try this product instead of filing down the ridges because my nails are thin and break/split easily. This product goes on easily and flows well but it a bit thinner that I thought. Thats not a problem but may require more than one coat. I really like the fact that it dries to a matte finish but can be buffed to a decent shine/glow. The shine isnt like with a clear polish that is too glossy, but is a nice healthy, masculine shine. The only downside I experienced is that it goes on flesh tone color and dries clear but maintains a bit more "yellow" appearance than I prefer. I compare this product to Orly Nails for Males. Very similar except the Orly is a thicker product but isnt yellowish on the nails. I still recommend the Mavala Ridge filler as a nice thin application, easy to use product for the guy who doesnt want a glossy look to his nails.

  • Mavala Ridge Filler Is 5 Stars And More 5 Star Rating
I have been looking for a neutral toned ridge filler for a long time. Luckily MAVALAs is great. As a result, my toe nail polish doesnt chip, and it wears longer. The MAVALA Ridge Filler doesnt affect the color of the nail polish. I use it on my finger nails by itself for a clean and tidy looking manicure.

  • Not-so-great For Men 3 Star Rating
It may not have as heavy a gloss as some products, but it is still far too much for a man to walk around with. And Im a dude who thought it wouldnt be a bad idea to wear nail polish... so like... definitely on the metro side of the spectrum.
