Looking For What Will Be The AnswerNot For Our Little OneThis product was referred to us by a family with a child who even deformed his mouth from sucking on his thumb so much, but it didnt work for us. Our little one is determined, and though it tastes AWFUL and should work, it doesnt seem to be our solution.posted Nov 19, 2007Link to this post

Nicole BrownFolsomJust What We NeededI need to get my 3 year old to stop sucking her thumb so we decided to "paint our nails" one day and I used this. I did it for a few days and she completely stopped sucking her thumb. It worked perfect and I still have it in case she starts up again.posted Nov 15, 2007Link to this post

AbikkOnly Thing That Stopped Thumb SuckingWe tried a few other products to get our five year old to stop thumb sucking. Nothing ever worked except Mavala. After years of thumb sucking, he stopped in one night after applying this to his fingernail. Once he had a relapse and started sucking again, but I apply the Mavala and he stops right away.posted Nov 15, 2007Link to this post

ChrisThis Is The Best Item Ever For Nail Biting!!!!!We have tried Thumbz, a product you can buy locally, gloves, band aids, and even paying to remind our son not ot bit his nails and nothing worked till this. He is so proud to show he has nails and how he doesnt bite them in class anymore. Thank you sooooo much.posted Nov 5, 2007Link to this post

Trudy EhlenbergerSan Jose, CaliforniaIt Works! We did something different with our 3 1/2 year old. We asked her to stop sucking her thumb. She said okay I will stop Saturday. She did not suck her thumb on Saturday but Sunday morning there it was back in her mouth. So we began searching for this product. We read some of the reviews posted and came up with our solution. We told her sometime soon here thumb was going to start tasting different. We would ask her in the morning if it tasted different. Nothing. Then one night we applied a small amount to both thumbs. When she woke up in the morning she said "mommy it happened my thumb is icky". I applied to the whole finger that night. the next day she by habit put her thumb in her mouth again it was worse. She was done! she did not like the taste of her thumb. it has not entered her mouth again. She is getting to go see DIEGO tonight with her dad. I would not apply it in front of your child. do it while they are sleeping.good luck.posted Nov 3, 2007Link to this post

NeilNashville, TNAn Awesome ProductThis product is amazing. My sister has been biting her nails since before she can remember. Prior to using Mavala she has never had to use a nail clipper in all her life. If you bite your finger nails and you want to stop I would Highly recommend Mavala.posted Oct 30, 2007Link to this post

Mom Of FourVirginiaWorked For First Couple Of DaysThis product seemed to work for my 5 year old son but after a couple of days he was back to sucking his thumb. He eventually stopped on his own when we told him that he lost his first tooth because he sucked his thumb. That may sound cruel to some but it worked like a charm! He hasnt sucked his thumb for over a month now. Not only did that little white lie help with sucking his thumb but it also has him very motivated about brushing his teeth every morning and evening. He actually enjoys flossing!!Now he can focus on the thing he loves the most, SOCCER!posted Oct 30, 2007Link to this post
