Does The Job, As Long As You Keep Applying It.Ive been a nailbiter for almost 40 years. Its become a subconscious nasty habit. Finally decided to end it, have tried other products ("no-thumb") that didnt work as well. Did Not Work For MeMy 4 1/2 year old daughter is a serious thumb sucker and this was my last hope before getting the dental appliance. It worked for the first 1 1/2 days but after that she just kept sucking it off. I was applying it 2 times a day and it did not deter her. I must admit it tastes AWFUL but that did not seem to stop her. I put it on the first night when she was sleeping and she woke up early in the morning about 5:00 am crying that she had a nasty taste in her mouth. The remainder of that day she did really well and part of the next day but after that it was all over. None EffectiveI used this on my daughter because she sucks her fingers. She cried for about two hours and then just started sucking her fingers as if there was no polish on them. I tried this for 4 nights and after the 3rd night she was use to the taste so she didnt hesitate to stick her fingers in her mouth. Great Product!!We tried everything to stop our 6 year old from sucking his thumb and our 4 year old from biting his nails. I was skeptical of this product, but we decided to try it. It works!
