GaynaHairBlondeDry HairLove The Nipper, Not The Spring : {I like the clean cut of the nipper. My first pair worked wonderfully but after a month the spring broke. Disappointed they didn't last longer but since I loved the cut I bought another pair. The second pair didn't last as long after 2 weeks the spring broke. I was cutting soft cuticles. I had only used them twice! It would be nice if there was some way the spring could be stronger and replaced, Anyone else have this happen?posted Mar 26, 2012Link to this post

IreneDenver, CoHairDark BrownDry HairColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairMehaz Is The Best Cuticle Nipper BrandI bought this to replace another mehaz, that after a few years of frequent use, lost its spring. I prefer my older one for grip comfort, but this one is just as effective, clean, swift, non-tearing cuts. While the spring may go (and I couldn't find repair info on their website) the sharpness of the nipper never dulls. This is my new brand, even given the cost. If you are willing to spend the money and need the best cuticle cutter, I recommend any by mehaz.posted Mar 14, 2011Link to this post

Cindy S.Northern MichiganExcellent Nippers, Not Bad PriceI'm no pro - just like nicely manicured cuticles. These Mehaz 888 nippers are very sharp and of high quality. They actually cut without the endless and futile pulling that I end up doing with my old cheap pair. I think the only difference between this pair and the next level up, which are more $$, is that these are not stainless steel and could rust if you don't keep them dry. Very worth it, very pleased with this purchase.posted Mar 25, 2010Link to this post

JulieManhattan, New YorkMehaz 4" Cuticle NipperI much prefer this nipper to my Engel or Hoffitz nipppers; the grip of the Mehaz nipper is far more comfortable. It is an excellent value for the cost of the product.posted Sep 22, 2006Link to this post
