Colorevolution Mineral Powder

FaithCrestline, CABest I've TriedI have very sensitive skin and I just cannot wear most make-up. This goes on light, looks natural, and doesnt cause a breakout. I had to stop using my previous mineral makeup because I couldnt find it anymore. I was worried because every time I try something new I break out. I tried three different mineral makeups before this one. They went from OK to terrible. Some were extremely expensive. I bought this one on line after reading reviews. I love it and hope I can always find it. Its not glittery (Im too old for that) and its not overly made up, but can be used for a little more formal look for nights out without having to buy a bunch more shades.Bought the starter kit from Costco.com (best price Ive found for it) and I;m done looking.posted Sep 7, 2008Link to this post

AnonymousPhiladelphia, PABeats Bare Escentuals Hands-downBare Escentuals is great...if you like a dull, flat matte look. I found Colorevolution Mineral Powder in a small beauty supply store near my home, and what a difference! It goes on smooth, blends beautifully and gives your skin a bright, soft glow. Its not shiny or glittery, but it does have a sheen. I was using a powder plus a bronzer before, but no more! This product has everything you need for that flawlwss, healthy look. Best of all, I found it on folica.com for half the price!posted May 9, 2008Link to this post

Lawgirl5SF Bay Area, CANot 100%One of the ingredients of this product is Bismuth Oxychloride...a heavy metal known to cause cystic acne and irritate the skin (granted...not for ALL people). Its what causes the "itch" many feel in mineral makeups. There are many others out there that do not contain this filler. It kills me when a mineral makeup (including BE) says they are 100% pure minerals yet they contain Bismuth!posted Jan 31, 2008Link to this post

Judi G. SaundersMineral MakeupI have been using mineral foundation for about 10 years, and Colorevolution is one of the best that I have tried. The colors are soft and natural. I am 62 years old, and I have no problems using this powder foundation. It blends perfectly leaving a smooth finish. I will definitely purchase it again.posted Nov 19, 2007Link to this post

J PigeonPHX AZGreat ProductI just started using the Colorevolution and I love it. I have oily skin even at 43 and this makeup actually stays on. I will tell you the best price I have found for it is on the Costco web site. The entire kit with 2 foundations, a blush, an eye shadow primer and 2 shadows was $28.00.I think it works best for normal to oily skin.posted Nov 8, 2007Link to this post
