Surgi-Wax Body and Leg Hair Remover

MashaSalt Lake CityMashaIts a great quality product for such a cheap price! However you have to have some waxing experience to use it, or just watch CLOSELY a professional do it in a salon. One note - if you ever overheat the jar wax loses its quality forever and starts flaking. Oh yeah, and deep bikini hurts like hell if you do it yourself, so have a big glass of wine first!posted Apr 19, 2009Link to this post

BrittanyIt's Fantastic.People who are giving this product terrible reviews are ignorant. You cannot use a wax on your legs and expect it to grab all of the hair on the first go! I went to a SALON and had my legs waxed four times, several weeks apart, before all of the hair would come up. Your hair grows in cycles and it is not always the same length. Come on people.Besides, this wax works best on thick hair, like your underarms and bikini area. I hate thin, gooey waxes that drip and dont pick up any thick hair, so this wax is perfect.posted Apr 13, 2009Link to this post

Jill OmerCamp Pendleton, CaSurgi Wax Is AmazingSurgi Wax is so amazing. I have been using it for about 2 years now. It is SO easy to use. I think that most of the people who give it bad reviews just dont know how to use it properly, and it makes me so sad, I wish I could come teach them how to use it. No other product compares to Surgi Wax for hair removal.posted Feb 1, 2009Link to this post

Harper In Dallas, TxDallas, TXFantastic, Fantastic, FantasticThis is the first and will ALWAYS be the only wax I use on my underarms, legs, and bikini area. It definitely takes patience to apply correctly and warm product just right, but yields WONDERFUL results.Definitely worth a try and cannot believe the ratings are so low for such a great product :))))posted Dec 9, 2008Link to this post

HollyOhioNot For First Timersive been waxing with this stuff for 11 years. legs, face, armpits and bikini. Thankyou mothernature for giving me fine blonde hair...everywhere.Great product if you know what youre doing. I have a home warmer and melt the wax in the microwave first and then pour it into the warmer. Its easier to keep a consistent temperature, and you dont have to run back and forth to the microwave to keep reheating it (if youre doing a long session)When doing my bikini, i sit on a piece of aluminum foil to catch any drips. Works great!Use the oil it comes with and give yourself time. Its important to apply the product in the direction of the hair growth and remove it in the opposite direction. Armpits and bikini can be challenging for this, so work in small areas. dont rushGreat product.posted Aug 22, 2008Link to this post

JenaGot Really Good Results!I used Surgi Wax for the first time on my under arms after trying a few others (w/ muslin strips .. impossible!!) well the results were great!!, not perfect but I think that was user error. it did not hurt!! I used some baby powder before waited between 15-30 seconds to remove, it was not painful at all and got lots of hair w/ the first yank!, the only problem was I may have put it on a bit too thick. TRY DOING THESE STEPS>>* sprinkle powder on skin before* apply warmed wax at a 45 degree, be sure not to apply it too thickly in, the area should be no larger than 4"x 2" (this makes removal easier, i think some people apply too long a strip)* wait 15 - 30 seconds and pull off in a upward motion against the skin.* rub baby oil on to remove excess and sooth skin ( i prefer using johnson & johnson gel formula baby oil)posted Aug 15, 2008Link to this post

ColleenILComplete WasteI have difficult legs and nothing seems to work. So I turned to waxing. This product seemed easy and effective. I was wrong. It didnt hurt too much, but it only worked on about half my hair. I tried it over and over again and got the same effect. If you want a complete job well done, do not get this product.posted Jul 19, 2008Link to this post

RachelIdahoBad, Bad, Bad...I bought the surgi-wax eyebrow and facial hair wax and LOVED it. Its the green gooey kind with no strips. I then decided to wax my legs and went back to the store to get this product. It was not ANYTHING LIKE the eyebrow kind and it was terrible. The only way to apply the wax is with this plastic roll-on thingie that clogs as the wax builds up on it. Also, the one and only strip I ripped from my leg didnt get all my hair, was incredibly painful, and leftover wax stuck to my leg. I threw both boxes that I bought away and called my salon to have it done professionally so I didnt end up with splotchy, red, rashy legs for my vacation..Good luck with this product, youll need it!posted Jul 18, 2008Link to this post

MichelleNiagara Falls, New YorkWarning...don't Use This Product!I am extremely disappointed with this product. I followed the directions very closly. I tried a small patch on my upper leg and I was in so much pain trying to get it off. I was left with a raised, bleeding red patch. I cant believe this product is actually on the market. If you are thinking about trying this product...think again. I wish I would have read more reviews before trying it.posted Jul 12, 2008Link to this post
