ProthikI dont see how this product can be used?1) Applying it in the home gives rise to "oversray" black dust everywhere. Difficult to clean up. Maybe it could be applied outdoors; however, not very practicle.2) At the slightest sign of moisture, rain, sweat, ect. you have black stuff everywhere.3) Showering after applying the product put black ink like stains all over my tub and shower. Best Ive Triedi started with couvre ,then the other sprays , even the one applied with a little brush . they were all ok ,glh is the worst . couvre is the leader , ive only had problems with the nozzle on some of the cans . you will not be dissapointed . i use it so often . nobody has ever seen me without it . and when i do shower i forget how bald i really am ....posted Jul 29, 2005Link to this post -

A New HopeProTHIK has worked great for Me. I am 23 years old and have been experiencing hair loss for about a year now. I use ProTHIK daily. I have to say that before I started using ProTHIK some of the reviews did not sound great, but people seemed happy with the results. After I started using ProTHIKpeople complimented Me at school and work, about how great My hair looked. It stays on very good during sweating or even rain. Make sure to use it only where necessary, and also use a good finishing hair spray. I was so impressed after water testing it the first time by soaking My hair in the shower at the end of the day and none of it came out! Thicker HairThis product will not flake down onto your forehead if you have to use in on the frontal areas..shake it good and dont let the can get cold or it wont spray out...if it wont spray out put it in a warmer spot...always shake it really, really well...posted Jul 15, 2005Link to this post

Read My Review / Excellent Product / Styling Tips.My Testimonial: Im Dave out of SLC,UT. This product is SIMPLY SUPERB. Ive used competitors such as Jerome Russell etc. And when it comes to VALUE… Your HUGE cans blow the market away. ProTHIK for sure has a holding ground on value/quality/quantity. I have NO problem bring this product toward the hair line… I start on the back top of the head and pull the hair back firmly and spray… Then I slowly edge forward pulling more hair back and spraying where I see the scalp until I get to the front of the head… I place roughly a finger or two into the front hair line as a guide to keep the product from spraying too close out front… and then comb all hair forward. I then take a wet cloth and rub upwards into the hair line for desired blend.To maintain a solid THICK look I style two different ways:ONE: The cesar look with all hair forward. I use D:FI heavy wax Firm Hold. Simply apply with the hair direction (front to back) with both hands… ONLY applying the wax on the top hair layers (it gets on there, trust me). Then I take a Comb Pick with the little handle and start at the back of the head and move the pick side to side as I come toward the front and the wax bonds with underlying hairs without going right down to the scalp. This particular wax gives a superb shine to bring the natural look back. If I want an even better shine I simply spray a little Bed Head TIGI Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray and I’m DONE.TWO: The messy spiky look. This is a hard style to pull off with thinning hair… But I think I have it mastered to an art. Apply ProTHIK as mentioned above. I then use American CREW Fiber/Molding Crème. I rub a good about between the fingers of both hands and then grab the hair and mess it all up… Only for a few seconds… Allowing the top hairs with the crème to bond with the underlining hairs… But not too much to where you’re moving the bottom hairs near the scalp. Women luv the messy look if done right. Don’t over think it… Less is better!! Once done… Apply Bed Head TIGI Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray. And you’re done.Avoid the really greasy or wet products such as Gels, Mousse, etc. You can obtain the SAME look by starting with one of the methods above then applying shine hairspray.ProTHIK and PROPER Styling can virtually make any thinning head undetectable.posted Jul 4, 2005Link to this post

Excellent Product At A Great PriceIts a lot better than that expensive Ronco GLH formula and the medium brown color matches almost exactly. It does cover bald spots and fills in thinning hair with a realistic look. Ive actually been able to use it right under the front hairline. It is very hard to wash out but then again thats what most would want. Ive had no problem with being out in the rain or sweating.
