Great ResultsI have been using this product for several months without telling anyone. My friends started to tell me how much better my hair looked. My cloest friend told me one day after I had told her about Dermatch that she was about to tell me that my hair looked healthier than it had in years.
The product lives up to it's expectations, it cover's extremely well and does not come off or run in the swimming pool.
The only problem I have is that it is a matte, I may apply too much), and it appears to make my hair look dull. However, with a shine spray it looks much better. I am happy that I chose this product over the sprays or sprinkles. It is very easy to apply, just need to get used to using the correct amount. It last's forever and I am now placing another order for more.My hair is grey and the silver grey works perfect, however I have lots of white too, so I am ordering the white to see which color looks best or maybe combine the two colors.
I had tried wigs, top hair pieces, they drove me crazy. You can use this product with ease, just takes a few minutes to make a drastic differencee.

The Best I've FoundI am a 40-year-old female suffering from trichotillomania (much like biting fingernails, except that it's pulling hair), and while I have the condition under control for the most part, I do have relapses from time to time that leave me with bald spots or thinning hair in certain spots on the scalp. DermMatch works terrifically to cover these thin spots and make my hair appear full again. I use the dark brown, which is a great match for my naturally dark brown/slightly gray color. If you have a warmer dark brown (maybe with bits of red or medium/light brown highligts in it), I would definitely suggest going lighter, however. I always apply the product by wetting the applicator and then rubbing it around in the makeup until it's approximately the consistency of thin mud. Then I just paint it on where needed. Doing this on wet or dry hair or scalp doesn't really seem to matter. One thing I've learned is that it's best to apply it directly to the scalp and try not to put too much of it on any hair, because that's what causes it to rub off. I wait about 30-45 minutes for it to dry completely and then comb it through. I've found it to be completely water and sweat proof as long as you don't use any soap or shampoo on it. I also haven't had any problems using any styling products on it. However, if you are covering a large area, please be aware that it will rub off on your hands if you run your fingers through your hair. (This is actually a benefit for me because it keeps me from pulling.) It also will leave a dark spot anywhere you rub your hair, like pillowcases or the backs of chairs (if you're leaning heavily against them or rubbing your head on it). It can leave a dark spot on light shirts or jackets with high collars that reach the hairline. With the exception of one pillowcase I have, however, I have found that it launders out of all fabrics very well. I haven't had any trouble with it permanently staining any of my clothes. All that being said, I think the challenges of using this product are definitely worth the positive impact it's made on my appearance.posted Apr 29, 2010Link to this post

Seems Like They Know What They're DoingI've tried several products. DermMatch seems to have a real knowledge in trying to help solve the hair thinning problem; a large, easy to use compact, good sized applicators, readable instructions--although one area might be confusing (use on dry hair/okay to use on wet--I have done both, so I guess it doesn't matter), good color (may be a little powdery-looking), and best of all, seems to last--and it doesn't make my scalp itch like several other products do!!!posted Apr 6, 2010Link to this post -

Derm Match Rocks!The next best thing besides real hair is this product. I am a female with male pattern type baldness and was just using brown eye shadows (yeah, I know!) that were too powdery and wouldn't stay put, and would also streak. Anyway,I used and like this product but still decided to have a hair transplant. i'm happy with it, and now that I'mm 8 weeks post-op, I'm applying this conservatively around the area to blend. Love ItI received this product about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT. It is easy to apply and doesn't come off easily. In the past week I have run 8, 10, and 12 miles and have not had any issue with running or dripping (and I sweat a lot). So thank you so much for making this product. Great Product!I am a woman with slightly thinning hair, enough that I could see my scalp. I was getting frantic, so I researched what could resolve the problem and my first stop was Dermmatch. It was my last stop too, as I was so pleased with it. My confidence is restored. It is easy to apply, and with practice I have found it's best applied to freshly washed and still wet hair. Once applied I blow dry. Initially I was using too much so my hair looked powdery, so I now use less and it's fine. I've been caugght out in the rain and it didn't run. It lasts for 4-5 days, so I have just made it part of my hair washing routine. It's great. I wouldn't be without it. Wonderful...andLove this product; however, important detail for me to mention, after you apply it and notice that your hair is thinker it will look like straw, so my recomendation is to put hand lotion on your hair and it will then make it look softer and more natural. Buy This NowI am a hair designer and I find this to be one of the best cosmetic cover-ups I have ever had the pleasure of using . I would direct You to buy a shade lighter than You think You will need (in the brown tones) as they are much darker than You might expect. Dermmatch ReviewI tried this after a google search led me into the weird world of hair concealers / fibres etc s I have crown thinning only. After using it the results were amazing however when you are wearing it you are aware something is on your head but it does stay in for days if you want it until the next time you wash your hair. Its a shame it does not come in a trial pack but the pack will last you for ages, like 6 - 8 months which is pretty incredible value. "Apparently" because its loaded with emollients and porous its not bad for your scalp but I'll leave that up to you to decide as to the feel when its on. Also you need to take time to apply it, then dry it and style it, I'd say 10 - 15 minutes when you become seasoned.But in terms of what its meant to do its faultless and the first time you'll literally be amazed as to your new head of hair. I have also tried Toppik hair fibres now and compared to Dermmatch I found the following - coverage identical, Toppik however seemed to look more natural and you don't feel the product in your hair like Dermmatch. Dermmatch because its a matt product ( so as not shine on your scalp ) will look dry but you can remedy this with spray / mousse during application however Toppik literally shakes on your head and then you pat or comb it and apply a quick shot of hairspray. The whole process takes a few minutes if that. So for me as a daily routine Toppik is quicker and I prefer the feel but its much more expensive than Dermmatch. Dermmatch also has an applicator that lets you have absolute control over where you paint it and it thickens your hair fantastically. Rather than gie yourself a headache why not try both as I did, the only downside is that Dermmatch does not come in a trial pack but tbh it will last you so long that it doesn't matter.
