The Best Gray Coverage Between Color Appointments!I have used a few and this is the best one yet. It is like a thick sharpie with hair color and no smell! Put directly on the gray roots and strays and it looks great. Your hair is a little stiff initially but you can comb your fingers through it and I think it actually helps my part stay in place which I like! I "guess" It's Doing What It's Supposed To...I've used this stuff a couple times now, after it was highly recommended by a hairstylist. I get little gray roots every two weeks, so the constant hair dying is starting to take its toll.
First of all, it's a little tough to apply. My hair is thin and fine and getting that little comb in the right place proves challenging. The the applicator is a little spongy thing, and it does get all that much dye on it to apply to hair. So it's a bit hit or miss, trying to hit every little gray root on my head. Once the dye is on, if I'm lucky enough to have covered the grays after 2-4 attempts, I let it dry. It appears wet and stuff, so I have to brush it afterward. It is just "okay" once I do all this. I can still see grays, my hair looks a little drab as though it's dirty (even after I just washed, dried, curled and styled it) and I realize that one of two things are true:
1. I need to learn how to use it more effectively, or have someone else do it.

Works Like A Charm! Best Product Ever.Although it's fairly pricy, it's the solution for gray roots. The color stays, and it really covers gray. I part my hair several times and gently coat the roots allowing it to try as I move along each part. Afterwards, I look nearly like I just had a fresh color (not quite, but close enough till the next salon appt). I can't recommend it highly enough!posted Jun 14, 2011Link to this post
