SarahHairLight BrownNormal HairVery Unhappythis product is NO GOOD!!!! I dyed my daughters hair the raspberry red and half of her hair did not take and it took over a half hour to wash the applied dye out of her hair. It stained any part of her skin the dye touched even when rinsing out. I suggest to STAY AWAY from this product.Now she has patches of red in her hair. NOT IMPRESSED.posted Nov 14, 2012Link to this post

SarahHairMedium BrownNormal HairDo Not BuyI got the red hair dye for halloween and tried to dye my whole head. It was a disaster. I know that this is usually just for streaks or highlights but the box says you can use it for all over. First off this dye got EVERYWHERE my friends apartment was completely pink and still is. She needs to replace her bath mats, her floor is still stained and it tracked all around the house. Second it made my hair so tangled, and when i tried brushing it out the dye once again got everywhere. It killed the ends of my hair and so much hair came out when i brushed it. It also stained my neck and costume, and there is still red in my hair. Save your money and get a different brand.posted Nov 2, 2012Link to this post

Valentina R.HairLight BrownNormal HairFine or Thin HairRelaxed HairPretty Good!So last November, I dip-dyed my hair with pink fetish and aqua rush and it turned out awesome. My hair was brown back then so the pink came out like a fuschia and the aqua came out green. I still liked it! It lasted until I dyed all of my hair purple. I'm planning to go all purple again..posted Oct 28, 2012Link to this post

ShelbyHairAuburnNormal HairColor Treated HairChemically Treated HairDon't Hate On The RedI've read some of the reviews about how the Red Splat dye just washes out after 1 or 2 shampooings. Well, hate to break it to ya but Red is the worse color to dye your hair whether with Splat or not. I have dyed my hair red professionally, L'Oreal, Natural Instincts, Splat, Hi-Rez, and so many more and all of it fades to a burnt orange after a week or two. This even happens to natural red heads like my mother!
The reason is because Red is a fast fading color. Probally the fastest fading color.
When I went to the salon to get my hair dyed red, the stylist even warned me that it was going to fade after a week or two, and how he will be shocked if it lasts longer than a month. So, don't just lam it on Splat saying how the red turns burnt orange after a few washings, because it happen no matter the brand. The only way it won't fade is if you do a lot to upkeep it and spend a LOT of money on it.posted Oct 21, 2012Link to this post -
BelindaHairCurly HairColor Treated HairWaste Of MoneyI foolishly tried this product three seperate times and the results were crappy at best. I even went three weeks without washing my hair. And it still faded horribly!!! Don't waste your money. The only product I have great results with is Jereome Russell's Punky coloursposted Oct 19, 2012Link to this post

KaraNew YorkHairBlackDry HairColor Treated HairThick or Coarse HairResults May VaryI dyed my hair now, 4 times with splat, once purple, twice red, and now once combining the two.
The first time, I bleached freshly dyed black hair, so the bleaching just got to a light rust color, which was fine, I just wanted to test it.
A few months later, I decided to rebleach my ends, and they turned out a very bright blonde, though I had to leave the bleach on for four hours, instead of whatever their timing called for.
But the red turned out beautiful, bright, and very vibrant, though it started to fade after 3 washes. Which was fine, because it still remained bright red for about 2 weeks.
This time around, I'm going from previously bleached blonde ends, to a purple/red color, so the results are still undetermined c;
Anyway, I like splat, because it does wash out after a while, which is very good, especially if you get tired of the color. My only complaint is how much it bleeds when wet, no matter how many times you washed it. My hair only stopped bleeding after the 6th or 7th wash, when the color was already mostly faded anyway.
Tips - after washing with cold water, blow dry before changing into light colored shirts. Because it will stain. The stains can be washed out with warm water and a little extra detergent, which is exactly what I had to do for my pillows after the first time with the purple.
Avoid sweating though, or put your hair up, because like I said, it will bleed when wet, this includes sweat.posted Sep 13, 2012Link to this post -
ChelsHairDark BrownFine or Thin HairHard To Remove! D:<I used the Lucious raspberry dye and let me tell you, that colour was gorgegous! However, I'm human and I got tired of the upkeep the colour required so I decided to faded out. I figured since that it was "semi permanent" the colour would fade back to my light brown. Well.. IT DIDNT. It faded patchy! I decided to go to my hairstylist and he couldn't even get it to fade! My hair looked like such a hot mess it made me regret ever using splat. It sucks it really does! So much for semi permanent. Anyways I suggest you try the red only of you're willing to go through all the upkeep, and you're okay with it never ever truly fading. (my hair is now dark brown and the stupid red still shows through.)posted Sep 12, 2012Link to this post

ShellyHairMedium BrownNever Again Will I Use Splat!The first time I used Splat I dyed just a strip of my hair. I bleached first, and I honestly don't think it turned purple. All I remember (and all the pictures show) is a pink streak.. I decided to try Splat again when I did my whole underlayer and I did it without bleach and you couldn't even SEE the purple. When I bleached my hair, the dye washed out in 2 days. My underlayer was spotted blonde! So I re-re-did my hair, I mixed it with the blue Splat and it wash BRIGHT blue. 2-3 weeks later it washed out and my hair is now super light pink with blue at the roots.
VERY UNHAPPY!!
NEVER EVER use Splat!posted Aug 31, 2012Link to this post
