Finally A Color That WorksI have gray mainly around my face. All the color products that I have used just look so fake...one color. I had just about given up when I saw Bigen at Wal-Mart. I applied Bigen (a shade lighter than my natural hair color) just on the gray using a small brush and a fine toothed comb. Twenty minutes later, it looks so natural and didnt dry my hair out. I have so many allergies that I expected the patch test to break me out. It was wonderful to find a product that works for me. By Far The Best Alternative To Regular Dye HairThis product is amazing, it is by far the best alternative to dye hair. I have resistant gray hairs and Bigen has lasted up to 4 weeks, even though I wash my hair daily. Important Tip From Biba,boston, UkI rate Bigen as excellent but there is no warning on the packet that it contains PPD. PPD is present in all dark permanet colours. Most people who are allergic to hair dyes are allergic to that chemical.I had a severe irration -- it is not chemical free and not pure veg. dye as consumers are led to believe.I would recommend a patch test to be sureposted Apr 9, 2007Link to this post

Always Satisfied!I have used Bigen for as long as I can remember. Never dissatified. I have suggested it to all of my friends and family. There is no other hair coloring product I would use. Fantastic Stuff, But Don't Leave It On Too Longive been using Bigen hair color, both the dark auburn & light chestnut, for the past five or so years. the only drawback is that the color becomes very intense & somewhat darker if left on the hair for more than 15-20 minutes. theres no nasty smell & my hair is incredibly soft & shiny after coloring. ive got a fair amount of gray hair & this product covers it completely.posted Jan 3, 2007Link to this post

Go LighterMy daughter has dark brown hair and colored it a light bright reddish brown. when her roots grew out she wanted to color her hair dark brown again. I read other reviews about this color and the it colored darker than one would think, so I ordered the light chestnut. Don't Use Unless You Want Very Dark HairThis product didnt cover my gray too well, but it sure made my non-gray hair AWFULLY DARK. I used #45, chestnut brown, which is the LIGHTEST color they have.Ive cut my formally shoulder-length hair short because I HATE dark hair. WonderfulThis stuff is amazingly easy to use and it actually dyes my hair although theres no ammonia or peroxide. I use the oriental black and it stays permanant. I have used boxed hair dyes before and most of them washed out. This ones cheaper and definately stays. I do get very noticeable roots after about three months (about an inch or inch and a half), however my hair is very dark brown so only I really notice them.posted Sep 1, 2006Link to this post

Bigen HaircolourI had many allergic reaction with all standard haircolouring products. A haircare specialist told me that Bigen was my only option. Reluctantly I tried it out. First skintests in several places and that gave no adverse reactions after 4 days. I could now use it safely.I honestly havent looked back and I am so pleased with the results it gave me. Over the moon are the words I am looking for.It gave my hair a shine, left it in good condition and coloured it from root to tip and my hair is long, long.It is now more than 4 weeks ago and my hair still looks radiant!
