Mega-moisturizingI was a little nervous about this product upon first seeing it in my local hair care store, to tell you the truth. Sure, the packaging is kinda cute--a shiny purple bottle, with a matching yellow conditioner; who could resist?--but would it really do what I needed? My hairstylist had recommended this product to me, even though my hair is not colored. Just dry. Dry as the Sahara Desert. She figured my hair could use the extra moisturizers and a lot more protein, which is sure what I got with this product. I had tried Bed Heads Control Freak shampoo and conditioner recently, and it wasnt nearly enough for my thick hair; that was what dried my hair out so much in the first place.I was extremely relieved to get home and find this product to be thick lathering, and the matching conditioner very moisturizing and smoothing. My hair has not felt so soft and moisturized in what feels like forever! I only use this product three times a week though (I wash my hair everyday) and use a cheaper shampoo and conditioner the rest of the time. Too much protein can have a reverse affect on your hair, making it way more prone to breakage. So I keep the use of the product to a minimum. I give it 5 stars for the product, and 4 stars for the packaging, since the pump for my large, 25.36 oz bottle is too weak to pump the shampoo out quickly. Oh, and look for deals on this! I got both the shampoo and conditioner for $22, while normally it would cost me closer to $40. Yay for discounts!posted Feb 21, 2009Link to this post -

Gentle And EffectiveThis product is a great shampoo for color treated and bleached hair. It makes my platinum blonde hair bright and shiny. Its gentle and it moisturizes really well while removing product build up. Smells good too.posted Aug 19, 2007Link to this post

Love This!So after researching a lot of different products, I finally decided to buy the bed head dumb blonde shampoo and conditioner. I told myself not to get my hopes up that this will solve my damaged, breaking problems, but after only one use, I already feel a difference! Great Moisturizing For Colored Hair.Ive gone through a ton of different options for colored hair, and this is honestly one of the best Ive run into. It feels smooth and creamy when applied to wet tresses, and it has a rich, lovely lather to it. My only complaint is that it doesnt come with more scent options-- my boyfriend loves the way this smells, but I think its a little too much like strawberry candy.posted Mar 27, 2007Link to this post

Not So DumbI love, love , love this shampoo. I have colored my hair since well, birth, and this product cleans my oil prone roots without over drying my ends. It smells great as well.
