Besides Volume Oh The Fragrance Of My Hair!I have thin long hair and it was falling out while using over the counter shampoos and other products from my salon. I was ever so grateful when the salon owner started to use the Bamboo products. My fine hair is bouncy and it stopped falling out. I love the volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I have tried them all, and let me tell you....this is the best. The owner just told me that he was not going to be getting it any longer so here I am immediately googling and trying to find it on line, and boy am I glad I did because it is $4.00 less a bottle! About the closing of the top????? I am not understanding this at all. For me shampoo is about performance and not about the bottle! Not getting this complaint at all. My advice...go with the shampoo (the greatest) and it smells so good, and not about the way the bottle opens and closes.posted Mar 18, 2012Link to this post -

The Bottle Is Poorly Designed.The shampoo itself was fine. It volumized my hair along with its conditioner counterpart, but all of that doesn't matter if the top of the bottle doesn't close. It's a turn-top, like a prescription bottle without the child safety mechanism, However, my bottle didn't stay closed. When I stored it upside down so getting the shampoo out of the bottle and into my hand was more efficient, it leaked all over my bathtub until the bottle was empty. Bottle MalfunctionThe shampoo is nice, it makes my hair soft and a little bit more bouncy. But one thing I really don't like is how the bottle opens and closes. It's a turn to open sort of thing, only you're never quite sure if the bottle's closed tight. Sucks to wake up, brush my teeth and come to find that my shampoo had been dripping on my toothbrush all night.posted Nov 26, 2011Link to this post -

Great For Very Fine Hair!My last barber turned me on to this new Alterna Shampoo. WOW! I love the way it makes my very limp, fine hair feel. I have stick straight hair. This shampoo actually helps give me some body and volume. Combine it with the conditioner, Bamboo Mousse, and there is no comparison.
