Michele RTucson AZHairMedium BrownColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairChemically Treated HairWorked On My Fine / Thin HairI live in the desert and perhaps for those of you it didnt work for, perhaps you live in a humid climate. I live where it is hot and dry and this stuff worked very well. Maybe those of you who dont like it used too much oif it? I would suggest that you not use too much of it at a time. I have a TERTIBLE time finding the right products for my hair. I seem to own a beauty supply store under my bathroom sink!! But like I said, go easy with it until you find what amount works on your hair. I really liked this volumizer.posted Nov 23, 2010Link to this post

JenHairFine or Thin HairBest RootlifterI'm all about big hair (I tease mine a lot) and I lovee this product. I've used other rootlifters in the past and haven't really been a fan of any. I found that this one gives the stiffest hold and lift at the roots. It works best of you use a round brush and blow dry straight up or blow dry your roots upside down. The whole amplify line is very good and the smell is addicting.posted Nov 16, 2010Link to this post

LillySouth CarolinaGreat Product!!The root lifter wasnt greasy and didnt leave any residue behind. It doesnt even feel like you have the product in your hair (I can also add other styling products to my hair without loosing the affect, when I desire). I really saw instant results the first time I used the product (and the nozzle spray makes getting to the roots easier); I couldnt believe it! My hair was so full of volume!! I use Amplify root lifter when my hair is wet or dry and you dont need the Amplify shampoo/conditioner system to get results (but they are great too). Its worth the money and you can get so many uses from just one bottle! A GREAT must have product!!!posted Mar 13, 2009Link to this post

JanieNot That GreatI have very fine straight hair that really needs a boost. This does work, but does not last more then an hour or so on my hair. It also was flakey regardless of how little I used and my hair lost the shine. There volumizing spray gel was much better, but they discontinued it.posted Jan 11, 2009Link to this post

EmilyEuropeAwesome!I have tried at least 5 different products on these pages in the past several years and I cant find a volumizer that compares to this. It is light and does not leave your hair feeling greasy. I cant tell instantly the lift it gives my hair. Two thumbs up for this product.posted Dec 25, 2008Link to this post

Mindy SueOkI have lots of very straight, red, fine hair. I apply this to the roots of damp hair to plump it up. It was OK. I have used many root lifters and the cost of this one did not meet the expectations.posted Mar 25, 2008Link to this post
