Great For Taming Frizz!I've recently switched to the Ouidad product line after battling my curls for 46 years. It has finally occurred to me that it's much easier to give in to the curl, and frankly, I look better with it than my dry, parched straightened hair. The key is this deep conditioner and following the entire Ouidad line. You really can't skimp by trying to use one less product. I use this once a month, the Ouidad, shampoo, conditioner, followed by the leave in conditioner and gel. After my hair dries I use the pomade. Only Ouidad Product...This is the only Ouidad product that worked for me, everything else in the series was horrible except this. I loved the way my hair felt after using it, I am growing my hair out naturally and it can get very dry easily and this fixes that problem. The BestI live in humid Florida and this is THE BEST conditioner for my naturally curly hair that I have found in 30 years. I ave thrown out all the baskets of curly products that don't work and now my curl profuct is Ouidad and I have NOT found any of the OUIDAD products that aren't fabulous. Deep Conditioning Doesn't Get Easier Or Better Than This!This deep conditioner is what us curly haired girls have been looking for! Even if you straighten your curls, you NEED this! Yes, it is a little on the pricier side but it will give you the same results that you get at a salon and you can do more than 1 treatment so it will save you money in the long run! This really brought my hair back to life as I color it, straighten it sometimes, and wear it in a ponytail a lot! This has saved my hair!
I don't typically stand with a hair dryer in my hand while a shower cap is on. I put it in my hair, add a shower cap, blast it with heat a few minutes then go and do what I was doing around my house.
You can also use a very small amount as a leave in conditioner! I did this while I was out by the pool and it helped keep the chlorine out and gave me a very deep treatment!
