FHI Hot SauceEvelinLos Angeles Ca.Hooked!I have fine hair that is easily damaged by blow drying and flat ironing. I have tried a lot of products to try and help my hair look healthier. I bought Hot Sauce 2 wks ago and I was very impressed with the results. My hair looks sleek, straight, soft and shinny after flat ironing. I think this stuff is wonderful. I will continue to use it! =)posted Jan 6, 2010Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceRashidaMobile, Al UsHairAfrican AmericanChemically Treated HairAbsolutely The Best!!!!!!!!!!I am an african-american woman with extremely thick hair, it generally takes about 1-1 1/2 hrs for my hair to dry under a dryer. Since being introduced to "Hot Sauce" by my hair stylist it has shortened my stay to about half the usual time. My hair is full of body and shine, it's simply the best.posted Nov 23, 2009Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceElleNew EnglandHairLatinCurly, Fragile, And Would ReccomendI was a HUGE skeptic but once I tried it I was impressed. I am Puerto Rican and Irish...So yes girls the doo is Cur-lay!!!! I also color it from time to time. When I use this product I am generally using it as a flatiron protective. While still in the shower, I squeeze the excees water from my hair, I put it on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair and comb through (in the stile I plan on wearing). Then let it AIR DRY. Once dry I flat iron. The hair line is where I tend to be most pampering that Even when dry I add a touch more of the sauce to give extra protection. Getting the right amounts on how much to use is all trial and error, so be patient. Also I have found doing this technique on rainy days my hair holds. I use no gels, hairspray or any alcohol products to maintain my flatiron style. When using it as the product directions for blow drying, I have found that again portions is the key. I also use nothing but boars head brushes to get the ultimate smoothness. On a side note to the one review that it made her hair frizzy I honestly have to say OPERATOR ERROR. Also try mixing with the CHI silk Infusion; I found they work well together if you are drying naturally v/s blow drying. I gave this a 4 star rating since I have found a product that does everything I am looking for to meet my needs. Try the Fig line of WEN products by Chaz Dean. My hair is very fragile and this not only protects, and restores luster, it is also my Hair shampoo and conditioner all in one. It is costly but worth it's weight in gold.posted Sep 10, 2009Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceTonyaDetroit, MI USAHairAfrican AmericanChemically Treated HairNot What It's Cracked Up To Be!I am an african-american woman with type 4a/4b natural hair. Yesterday I bought Hot Sauce and after using it I am quite disappointed. Upon the suggestion of two women from two different beauty supply stores (one African-American and one caucasian) I decided to give it a try. I was apprehensive initially due to the size of the bottle and the price. I have no problem paying for a product if it will work. I have two FHI flat irons and absolutely love them! I know that the flat irons from this company are some of the best in the business, so I thought that Hot Sauce would be no exception. I saw absolutely no difference in the quality of straightness of my hair, nor was my hair any shinier than what they claimed it would be. Although my hair had body, I don't credit it to the Hot Sauce; it's like that anyway when I flat iron it. Perhaps I need to have a professional use it on my hair to see the desired results, because as it stands right now it was a waste of money.posted Aug 28, 2009Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceMandyPhiladelphia, PALittle To No Effect For African-american HairI used this product with my new tourmaline-ceramic flat iron. If you have relaxed hair that tends to be dry and/or brittle, dont bother with this fancy stuff, just get yourself some oils or grease - they prevented breakage much better than this hot sauce.posted Jul 1, 2009Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceChantalleMiami, FLHairCurly HairCannot Live Without....I have search my lifetime (32 years) for the right products for my hair. I am a light skinned Jamaica with very curly hair. I get a relaxer every 4-6 months and have fairly long hair (to my bra strap). I blow dry and then flat iron my hair so I was looking for a product to protect my hair from the heat. Since Ive been getting relaxers my hair is much more prone to split ends. I started using Hot Sauce about six months ago and I have noticed a dramatic decrease in my split ends. I think the only reason I actually had split ends is become I went twice as long as I normally do before my last trim. This product is AMAZING! I make sure I never run out. I currently have a 4 bottle stash to make sure that doesnt happen!posted Jun 27, 2009Link to this post -
FHI Hot SauceKrystalSouthfieldA Total Waste Of Money!!!WHEN I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT I WAS THINKING THAT IT WOULD WORK LIKE IT "SAYS" IT DOES, BUT IN ACTUALITY IT DOESNT. WHEN I APLLIED THIS TO MY HAIR AND BLOW DRIED IT THE PRODUCT MADE MY HAIR FRIZZY AND POOFY AT THEN ENDS. WHEN I FINISHED STYLING MY HAIR I WAS STILL DISAPPOINTED. AFTER ABOUT 2 WASHES MY ENDS WERE BACK TO NORMAL!!!!THATS WHY I SAW ITS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!posted Jun 22, 2009Link to this post
