TlrHairNormal HairExcellent Moisturizing Leave-inI have natural 4a (Af Am, kinky-curly) hair. My hair is fine and wispy, but very dense and coily. I tried this product on a whim and absolutely love what it does for my hair. I use it as a moisturizing leave-in and the moment it touches my hair it immediately softens, like another layer of conditioning. It has a runny texture, looks like a liquid gel. The fragrance is pleasant and fresh. I would have given it 5 stars, but I cannot attest to its straightening properties or claims in full. I use it on my hair at all times, even when I wash & go w/no expectation of added "straightening". It compliments the other products I use when I do straighten and my hair is always light, silky and soft. I can't say it extends the life of my straightened hair, but again nothing beyond lots of heat really stops my natural hair from reverting for long.posted Sep 22, 2010Link to this post

L. AyaNew York CityAnother OpinionThis product is amazing. Im Puerto Rican and my hair is wavy and a bit curly after its washed. My hair stylist recommended this product to me and I purchased it. After washing, I put a nickel amount of this in my hands, rub them together, and crunch/spread evenly into my hair. Then, I brush through it and blow dry. The next day I straighten with a flat iron and Im done. It leaves my hair so shiny and soft to the touch! Im not sure what hair texture the last reviewer had, but this product works amazingly well for me. I do not regret purchasing it what-so-ever. My hairs a lot healthier and it keeps a lot of the frizz down-- although I still use another product to keep down the remainder of the frizz after straightening.posted Apr 8, 2009Link to this post

EnriqueGuthrie, OKI Hate This StuffSo, I was looking for something to compliment and help my straight style and Im familiar with LAnza products. I love that LAnza is a vegan-based product company, blah blah blah. Well, let me tell you...this products sucks bad! No matter the amount of product I use, it makes my hair feel stiff as a board and not pleasant to touch. Ive tried to use it different ways. If I use it before I blow-dry my hair, it leaves tough waves that I cant even flat iron out; If I put it in between blow-drying and straightening, it stinks while it "cooks", and if I put it in after straightening, it gives me really bad fly-a-ways. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. It bites. That being said, check out LAnzas other products. Most of their stuff is really kickass and Earth-friendly.posted Nov 27, 2008Link to this post
