Nicole MaurerBuffalo, NYHairCurly HairAbsolutely Amazing!!!This is the BEST product I have ever used! I have naturally curly hair that tends to be a bit frizzy and the curls dont act right at times. I have tried EVERYTHING on the market and then some, nothing was ever quite right! I tried very expensive products, special shampoos, conditioners, hair cuts, you name it, I tried it! I had bought this product several years ago and never got around to trying it then recently I did and WOW! I instantly fell in LOVE!!! Now its discontinued! =(....posted Aug 14, 2009Link to this post

EvaTexasBest Wave Enhancer!!!!!!!!I have thin but wavy natural hair. This product makes my waves full of volume and very bouncy without making them scrunchy or sticky like most products. Adds shine without the greasy look. My hair stays smooth and shiny all day.posted Apr 13, 2009Link to this post

LacyAtlanta, GaHairCurly HairGreat For People With Borderline Wavy/curly HairI have hair that does this weird curl/wave thing. I used to use mousse and I would get annoyed at the "crunchy" feeling it gave to my hair. I bought Starlit Waves and fell in love. It gives enough stick, so my hair doesnt poof and it encourages curls (instead of waves). And my hair is soft (I am not sure whether the product makes it shiny since my hair is always shiny). I think it smells like caramel and a littly beachy. Unfortunately, it is now hard to find in stores (I think Walmart still carries it).posted Sep 13, 2008Link to this post

SamMIIm So SadWalmart and Kmart AND Shopko have all stopped carrying this product! Im looking everywhere to order it online, and my bottle is empty.I have thinner wavy hair, and this is the best product I have found thus far to use.Anyone who said it makes their hair smell bad must have purchased a bad bottle, I love the smell. And the only way it makes your hair quote "greasy" or "matted", is if you use it in mass loads...take it easy? Spray the product evenly over your hair (when its damp) NOT dry, or else it does get a little sticky....as any product would.5 stars, would give it 6 if i could.posted Apr 24, 2008Link to this post

B EBakersfield, CAHairCurly HairLove It!!!I love this product. With my curly hair, most products left my hair crunchy, dry, frizzy or both. Brilliant Waves has been a life saver! With just a little spritz my curly hair has body and shine! If you are a little product happy, this product will not work for you. On the days when I sprayed a lot on my hair, I was left with weighed down, cruchy hair. When using, just remember less is better. Added bonus... my skin is very sensitive to hair products. Brilliant waves is the only product that does not makes my face break out.posted Apr 11, 2008Link to this post

StLove It, Can't Live Without It!!My hair is medium textured and naturally curly, but endlessly frizzy.. :-( This product makes my curls so shiny, soft, full, and shapely, I absolutely love it. I have used it on damp or dry hair and it works equally well. I use the John Frieda moisturizing shampoo and conditioner with it and thats all I need. Ive never experienced stickiness or heaviness like some others have commented. Thank you Mr Frieda!posted Mar 26, 2008Link to this post

TriciaCTStickyI think this stuff makes your hair sticky and crunchy when it dries if you put it on wet. Didnt care for it.posted Jan 30, 2008Link to this post

ValerieOhioHairDry HairLong HairMakes Your Hair Stringy, Stinky, And Sticky; Nothing ElseI bought this because all the reviews for sedu beach beauty spray were soo good but I didnt have the money to spend on it, so I bought a bottle of this Brilliant Brunette Starlit Waves Wave Enhancing Spray from my local grocery store (for $4.59). When I got home, I spritzed it all over and tousled my hair, expecting instant results. The first thing I noticed was the smell, which was awful. It smelled musty as if it was 50 years old. Becoming dubious, I twisted my long hair in hopes that the spray would give me waves. When the spray had dried, i noticed my hair reeked of that smell. It had supplied a little bit of volume, but not enough for anyone to notice. Running my fingers through my hair, I noticed how my hair felt a bit matted and sticky. I could also tell that my hair became stringy. So, overall, this product SUCKS. It didnt work for me at all. Maybe youre not supposed to use it on dry hair, but when my hair was damp, I didnt even want to bother. Waste of money.posted Sep 19, 2007Link to this post
