GHD Thermal Protector Spray
-
LizaHairBlackFine or Thin HairGood, MehIt works really well. There are other products that work just as well. The smell is alright, the texture is not much different than other types of thermal protector sprays I've tried. Use a little, and try to work it with your fingers to the end of the strand to evenly distribute it. I may buy this again, but would more likely keep on buying Redken Iron silk from my salon.posted Feb 17, 2011Link to this post

DaniIt's Good! These comments really make me wonder how you girls are using the product! The dry, straw feeling I've read about here usually happens when you have too much of a certain product in your hair. I have the CHI shampoos and conditioners and if I don't wash them out really well I get that texture.
HOWEVER, this stuff doesn't do that to me. Try spraying it in your hands first and then spreading around for more even application. I thought I was going to have to throw this out after reading the reviews (got it free with my ghd), but it's actually quite good!posted Sep 23, 2010Link to this post -
DsnUse It On Wet Hair! The product is meant to be used on wet hair before you blow dry. I use it every day and it is excellent. Gives just a bit of hold.posted Apr 2, 2010Link to this post

CarolCaliforniaWhat Was Ghd Thinking????????If you want thermal protection but not the high cost try CHI 44 iron guard spray. It is amazing compaired to this product!!!!!!!!!I have been using a GHD iron for 2 years and decided to try this product to help protect my hair. GHD makes great stylers but this product is terrible!!!!!!! I used the one for dry hair first and that was so sticky I had to re-wash my hair. A friend said maybe I used too much so I gave it another try. Same result. She uses the one for fine normal hair so I tried it but still did not like it.TRY THE CHI 44 IRON GUARD THERMAL SPRAY. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!posted Mar 29, 2009Link to this post

KareNJTerribleThis stuff left my hair feeling like Id put a ton of hairspray on it. No shine, no silky feel, just a head full of sticky straw. For a lot less money, TreSemme works better than this product. I wanted something to use on damp hair but Im going back to BioSilk.posted Sep 22, 2008Link to this post

Baby GurlATLANTA (a.k.a A TOWN!) YEA!!! I LUV U KEESHANHairCurly HairIts Ok But Not Wat I ExpectedI really thought ghd thermal protection was actually going to work but of course like all other crappy hair products it really didnt do anything. But it did smell pretty good and it did help with the frizz on the top part of my head. So people with extremely curly hair that poofs up and needs protection from straighteners and other stuff dont buy it, its not worth the $dollars$ so just buy like VO5 thermal protection conditioning mist or tresemme thermal protection/heat activiation spray or watever theyre called so ya. PEACE OUT A TOWN!posted Nov 28, 2007Link to this post

HaircrazyLos Angeles, CAHairSynthetic HairThis Stuff Is Awful!I wanted heat protection for my chemically relaxed, thin, breaking, dry hair. I bought the Ghd for weak hair. It was horrible! Not only does it feel like hairspray and smell terrible, it made my hair really dry - it felt like straw! On top of that, it took forever to blow dry it after applying, and I have really thin hair. I spent almost a half an hour blowing out my hair, which usually takes 5 minutes. It was ridiculous. Never buying this stuff again!posted Nov 27, 2007Link to this post

VictoriaBronx, New YorkDon't Use This StuffI tried this product out in Sephora and you can even smell the alcohol in it! Alcohol is bad for your hair and dries it out... So needless to say you are doing major damage to your hair! Even more so if you are pairing the use of this product with a flat iron! OUCH! Try Federick Fekkais products!! Much better and worth the money.posted Oct 25, 2007Link to this post

Kiwichick72New ZealandToo PriceyI purchased two - (dry/coarse) plus the (weak/damaged) sprays and both acted as hairsprays rather than straighteners. It didnt leave a very nice shine as opposed to other products I have. It didnt feel like your hair was being protected as it states either. I wouldnt recommend this unless you like spending money hand over fist.posted Oct 1, 2007Link to this post
