ScottBoston, MAI Love SumotechI have been using Sumotech for years it has a great pliable hold which is perfect for the bed head/messy hair style that I have. I emulsify a small amount in my palms and use my fingers like combs and apply it into dry hair. All day long it evolves and never looks bad no matter how much I run my fingers through it. I don't find it greasy at all and would stockpile it if I ever hear it's being discontinued.posted Jan 14, 2010Link to this post

Brian HughesSan Antonio, TXFor Long Term, Strong, Clean Hold, This Is It.Pros: A little goes a long way. Cost per day is excellent.Cons: Need to apply properly - else - white gunk in your hair. The Bottom Line: If you need a product that provides a long term, strong, clean hold, this is it. Before Bumble and Bumbles Sumotech Id wash my hair every day, and apply a little "something" to get the hold I need. With Sumotech I can go three days before I need to repeat the process - and my hair doesnt get funky. I can just rinse my head in the shower in the morning, dry, comb and go - I have no idea why it works so well. Major plus in my book is no apparent perfume - as a guy I appreciate that. The product comes in a small 1.5 oz jar and is a white wax. The trick is to take a small amount, (about a single peanut size), into your dryhands and rub hard to melt the wax and then apply to your towel dry hair. If you dont rub hard and soften the wax, youll get while clumps in your hair not good. The product is very clean by that I mean if properly applied it doesnt gunk up your hair, it doesnt attract dirt, it doesnt create an oily mess like a lot of the pomade style products and it washes out easily. Method: Towel dry hair, then hands. Apply about a single peanut worth to hands, rub both hands together until warm, run hands through your hair. Comb. Once dry, comb again to get a dry, no fuss, look.posted Jan 1, 2009Link to this post

MelissaNot As Good As OriginalI bought this after borrowing my brothers Original Sumotech - he was almost out of it when I got my hair cut short. So, I bought this new one. Not as good. I keep going back to the remnants of the old one. This new one leaves hair greasy and heavy and does not provide a hold.posted Aug 10, 2008Link to this post
