Miss Jessie's Creme de la Creme Conditioning Creme

YolandaNever AgainI have kinky hair (4c if you're in to hair typing). The only reason I gave two stars is becaus this conditioner smelled pretty good, a fresh scent just like the shampoo. However, (and I've never had this happen in my life) I actually think this conditioner made my hair DRIER (and full of knotts and tangles)! I touched my hair a few minutes after putting the product in and didn't feel any difference than just shampooing and letting air dry (I knew this wasn't a good sign). I left in for about 30 minutes (maybe I left in too long?). I don't know but I won't allow this stuff to come within 50 feet radius of my curly kinks again!posted Aug 28, 2012Link to this post

KinksFlHairBlackCurly HairThick or Coarse HairAll HypeThis conditioner did nothing for my coils (4b) and the smell got really annoying after a wk. The conditioner didn't make detangling easier or make my hair soft but thankfully folica has the tresemme naturals line and that stuff is get for natual hair.posted Jul 20, 2012Link to this post

LisaHairBlackThick or Coarse HairDon't Waste Your Hair's Time But Here'e Something That Worked For MeTried on my daughter's natural hair did not work. It left the hair heavy and oily. Did try the Miss Jessies Baby Buttercreme ( TOO PRICEY FOR THE LACK OF RESULTS), it appears to leave the hair looking healthy, but after a couple of hours the hair is sooo dry. I tried the MIzani and line and it works wonders. The shampoo is great.... And the night creme is a dream. Although I don't think folica sells this creme.posted Dec 30, 2011Link to this post

Lolo Z.United StatesHairDark BrownDry HairCurly HairFine or Thin HairHmmmm...for The Price And The Performance...it's Okaaaaay.Well, most conditioners for Curly hair or for Afro-textured/kinky hair do not work for me; the first tends to be too light and not moisturizing enough, and the last tends to be too heavy and oily. So, when I see a conditioner targeted for both curls and kinks, it makes me happy to try it, as I seldom see such conditioners available on many internet sites or even in stores.
This conditioner is on the way to being just right, but it seems to be lacking in something. It absorbs well into my hair, but it doesn't seem to provide enough slip to make it easier to Denman brush my hair when it's wet and full of conditioner. (I have 3B-3C curls and fine, dry hair.) I put this conditioner in my hair, but then I had to follow up with Coconut Sublime (aka Coconut Curlada) by Curls, which is my tried and true conditioner.
I think that $16 for a 12oz. bottle is a reasonable price for an established brand, but it's still a bit steep for my budget; I only bought this conditioner because I used a coupon code. I will keep trying it, so as not to waste it and to see if my hair takes better to it over time...I only buy Coconut Sublime in bulk so that I can use a coupon code because I find that price to be too much for my budget too; I go through TONS of conditioner so quickly!posted Aug 4, 2011Link to this post -
