Not The Best For DetanglingI got this for my daughter's hair which is tight beautiful curls, but a pain to comb/wash. Every bath time is a fight with her. Nice ProductSLIP is a detangler/leave in conditioner that supposedly changes the ph of your hair to help detangle and start the curl. I like this stuff. It isn't heavy but works very well at detangling. You spray it on wet hair and leave for 30 seconds before using a detangling comb. Ok For First Couple Months Of Transition, Then You Need Something BetterWhen I first got it, I had nothing to compare it too. I am transitioning and was in my second month when I purchased it. It worked well but as I began to approach my third month, it got harder to detangle. I endeded up purchasing Giovanni Leave in and with it the comb slips through with ease. I have 4a hair . Slip Gives Me Dependable Snarl ReleaseI've been using Curly Hair Solutions' Slip for almost two years now, with excellent results every time I've used it. My extremely fine, 3b hair can tie itself up into one strand knots, and Slip even deals well with those. On rare occasions, I've even used it on dry hair to get those knots out, with great success.
