I have used this product with my normal hair, thermally reconditioned hair, styling as curly hair, styling as straight hair, and extremely fried hair from highlights. I have fine and thin hair that's hard to get volume into regardless, but I need my conditioners to have enough moisture and slip in order for me to detangle the rat's nest that is my hair after shampooing. Most volumizing conditioners and shampoos are extremely stripping for some reason- I would have to say this conditioner is actually pretty moisturizing for being marketed as a volume conditioner. It's only okay in terms of slip and detangling though in regards to other conditioners and I don't really feel it gives enough moisture and slip for my needs. Smells really nice, the ingredients are great, but I have to use a lot of it to be able to detangle. I really don't feel there's a whole lot of bang for your buck here.

If you want volume and hair that isn't weighed down, trying this conditioner may be useful to you, but using other conditioners from midshaft down on my hair gives the same, if not better results (because at least I can still detangle and get the moisturizing benefits that comes with wanting to conditioner your hair and not just use shampoo) than this conditioner. Volume will be best achieved with your styling products and the way you manipulate your hair AFTER you get out of the shower vs using this conditioner.
