Brush Melted On Third Use.Loved the feel and at first use it was great. Upon third use, it melted, taking huge chunks of hair with it. Had just started drying, so dryer may have been hot, but there was little or no time to building up heat. The brush just completely came apart. The whole center was melted and my hair was fried. Love These BrushesI LOVE these brushes. The design of them really helps keep your hair on the brush and not falling off all over the place. I had a brush with the same design that I bought at a drug store and it turned out to be awesome. It came time to replace the brush and I was excited to find one with the the same hourglass barrel. I would never go back to another style brush, they help smooth, curl and give volume. Spend The Few Extra Bucks For A Better BrushI purchased the large 2 1/2 inch brush because of the previous good reviews, and quite frankly I was a little bit disappointed. While the brush made my hair smooth and soft and did add some volume, It certainly did not cling onto the ends of my hair as I would have liked. I don't think the hourglass shape made the brush any easier to use either. I have fine hair and purchased this brush because I wanted something that would help in curling my ends under for a more polished look, and this brush didn't do a stellar job. I'm going to exchange it for a Monroe which has great reviews, and hopefully I will be more satisfied with that brush. Surprisingly GoodI bought this brush, and I wanted the best. At first, I was going to get a Chi or a HAI round brush, and this looked more interesting. I liked that it was ionic and tourmaline too. It does a great job and looks sharp too!posted Apr 17, 2008Link to this post
