JenniferTexasHairBlondeColor Treated HairFine or Thin HairNot What I Hoped ForI read somewhere that fine, color treated, damaged hair would benefit from infared styling tools so I was very excited to order the iron. The iron does not seem to heat like other irons. I set the temperature on the same temp I use on my Izunami iron. My hair seemed, for a lack of a better word, puffy. It did not smooth as I thought it would so I turned the iron temp up. I turned it up to 400 degrees and it still did not smooth my hair. It straightened the hair ok, there was still a little wave and there seemed to be a fuzzy "halo" effect, it just was not smooth. Sent the iron back, happy with folica.com's customer service but I think I will stick with my tried and true Izunami for now.
