CarolIs This Really Dual Voltage?I purchased a new Caruso Steam Hairsetter because of advertised dual voltage capability. My old white Caruso hairsetter that I still use (need to add salt) is terrific but was not advertised as dual voltage. However, Ive turned the newly purchased heating unit over and its listed as 120, 150W, and nowhere does it say its dual voltage. Im leaving on a trip to Europe and really need 240. I hate that you cant call the company to get immediate information on this product. Ive read through all the reviews and nowhere has anyone addressed the dual voltage issue. Please reply as quickly as possible.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

KhristyYou can probably just get an adapter for foreign use. It plugs in to your unit then into the wall jack. There are different kits so make sure you get the one you need.Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

Joan CoxCaruso Roller Clips AvailabilityMy hair is very fine and I really need the clips to secure on the rollers. How do I get the additional comb clips? They only send three with the kit. I cant see anything on the web that allows you to order just the comb clips.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Does A Great Job But Needs Replacing OftenThis is my 3rd Caruso in about 6 years. 2 years seems to be the max use even when following the use and care guide. It doesnt dry out my colored hair and it does everything the ads and description say it can do. I just wish it lasted longer. I have a set of Clairol hot curlers from high school (40 years ago) that I use until my replacement Caruso arrives. Even offering a replacement unit without having to buy the curlers would be a better option if they cant iron out the problem.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post

CleaningI love this product, and have not yet had to deal with the unit "Crapping out" on me. But here are two tips on how to clean out the system 1) as one reviewer suggests, remove the top and clean the system that way 2) with one tablespoon vinegar and water fill the part of the unit that you usually fill with water and plug in, allowing the unit to run until the water is gone. This will remove the mineral deposits that adhere to the unit from tap water!Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post
