CluckachickenThink about the result you want and then order as close as possible. The smaller the roller the tighter the curl and the bigger the roller the larger the curl. But each person has to experience the roller sizes to see what makes one happy with the result. I am sure that is why when one buys the unit they get each size to see which one they like the best and then can order a six pack of the size they would use the most.
