"ion" Vs. No Ion Set-which Is Better?
Caruso 30 Molecular Ion Steam features "Ion" steam and costs a few more dollars than the other "Professional unit" (neither require salt). Is the "ion" version signicantly better; i.e. worth the extra money in terms of results? Pls advise, thx.

Does This Setter Only Heat One Roller At A Time?
Does setter only heat one roller at a time? The picture makes it look like this is how it is. If so, how long does it take to heat a roller?

  • No More Kinks
Use roller clips for the rollers on the crown and the front of the hairline, instead of the plastic covers provided. It will give you the volume you need, and elliminate the kinks.

  • Dry With No Products
I dont know how the latest version of the system works, but I found with my old one (that I still use and adore after 14 years) works best when my hair is clean and dry. I tried it several times with hairspray first, then curling it, and it never worked as well as when it was just plain old dry hair. Save the product application for AFTER, and the results should be as advertised.

  • Clean Dry Hair!!!
I have been using my setter for about 15 years. I have moved from denver-very dry climate to houston- very humid climate. The curls in either place work best if you use a shot of hairspray after you get the right curl. Changing the curl after spraying gets a yuckky result, and gunks up your rollers too! The curl is bound to last alot longer in a dry climate, but still works alot better than a curling iron for staying power!
