No, this dryer does not come with a comb attachment! The ONLY one that does is the CHI Rocket, which I also own, which is a great dryer, but a little too hot for me. I use the dryer to dry and straighten my fine extremely curly/frizzy (color treated) hair. You do need a hot dryer to straighten hair, but the chi rocket burns my scalp a little on the highest heat, so I have to turn it down as soon as it starts burning. I also have tried to just live with my curly, frizzy, fine hair using various products, but I still prefer to have my hair straight.Reply to this post
I sympathize with this customer and many others out there like me who may not be coordinated enough to use a round brush while holding the dryer. All kinds of dryers come with a diffuser, WHY CAN'T THEY COME WITH A PICK/COMB ATTACHMENT AS WELL, OR INSTEAD??????? A diffuser is useless to me! If I wanted my hair to be curly, I would just let it dry by itself! The pick on the Chi Rocket, while appreciated, has really long teeth on it, and the ends scrape your scalp, as they are not coated in any way, but still, it's better than no pick at all!
ALL YOU DRYER MANUFACTURERS OUT THERE, LISTEN UP, WE WANT A PICK/COMB ATTACHMENT TO STRAIGHTEN OUR HAIR!!!! WE ARE ALL UP TO OUR EARS IN DIFFUSERS THAT WE DO NOT NEED OR WANT! MAKE A GOOD QUALITY PICK ATTACHMENT (HOPEFULLY WITH ROUNDED/COATED TIPS TO PREVENT INJURY TO OUR HEADS) THAT ACTUALLY FITS OUR/YOUR DRYERS, AND YOU WILL SELL A BILLION DRYERS!!!!

I have also looked into buying separate pick attachments. They are extremely hard to find (although you can find milliions of diffusers!), and even though most say "universal", anyone who uses pick attachments can tell you THEY ARE NOT UNIVERSAL, AND DO NOT FIT HARDLY ANY DRYERS CURRENTLY OUT THERE! The dryer companies need to make a pick/comb attachment and either include it with their dryers, or SELL IT SEPARATELY!!! We don't care, we don't mind buying it separately, AS LONG AS IT FITS OUR DRYER(S)!!!!!!!!
Just a note to all you out there like me, trying to straighten your uncooperative hair with the pick attachment, I believe Hot Tools also has a few dryers that come with pick attachments; however, they have really long teeth (extends the length of the dryer so much, it makes it hard to work with), and they are not coated, and can (and do) scratch your scalp up. They are inexpensive, but are somewhat heavy, bulky, loud, and may not be as nice as some of the high end ceramic/tourmaline/ionic dryers out there. Kudos to Hot Tools, though, for at least acknowledging and providing us with a pick attachment that fits their dryer! Now if only we can convince the rest of the dryer manufactors to follow suit!
PLEASE PROVIDE US WITH A GOOD QUALITY PICK ATTACHMENT FOR STRAIGHTENING OUR HAIR THAT FITS OUR DRYERS, FOR ALL OF US ROUND BRUSH CHALLENGED PEOPLE WHO WANT STRAIGHT HAIR, AND DON'T WANT TO FRY IT BY USING A FLAT IRON EVERY TIME WE WASH IT!!!!

Raven V.Help Is Out ThereOkay so I completely agree with you! Howver, I have found a few that are pretty decent that come with the pick attachment. They may not be professional quality but pretty decent. Hot Tools of course is not up there with Sedu, Chi, etc. but they do work pretty well and they have quite a few that come with the comb attachment. I don't know where you live but in the Hair Cuttery salons in my area they sale the hot tools brand and even if you have a sally's beauty supply. Like I said not the best quality by any means but if you use some heat protector beforehand you should be good to go. I work and manage a salon so i am using my tools everyday and all different types and textures of hair and if I can make a hot tools comb attachment work then so can you!! LOL and if worse comes to worse take your favorite dryer getone of those big fat rubber bands and find a really nice comb attachment and rig that sucker on there. Cristy G.New YorkSomewhat Prefer SeduWell... I'm a long time user of Moroccan Oil and love the stuff. I have pretty thick hair that gets frizzy often especially in humid weather. Moroccan Oil helped tame the frizz and didn't leave a greasy feeling in my hair.
Then I got a sample of Sedu and decided to order that instead. They both feel about the same. Sedu feels a tad less oily. Both smell nice but I prefer the aroma of the Sedu product a bit better. It was a few dollars cheaper as well. It also seems that my hair stays less frizzy a bit longer than Moroccan Oil.
So is this a huge improvement over Moroccan Oil, probably not. But overall, I like it better.
All in all, I'm very pleased with Sedu Anti Frizz Serum. Oh yeah... the pump is easier to use as well as I can better control the amount I'm using.Feb 2, 2011Link to this post
