    Iron Plates Are Loose
I have owned my Solia Hair Straightening iron ( 1-3/4") for 2 years now, it works perfectly but the iron plates are loose now and my hair get stuck in it and break.
Is there a way to fix that, so my hair does not get stuck in it.

Will My Hair Smell Burnt After I Use This Flat Iron?
Will my hair smell burnt after I use this flat iron? I take a shower before I straighten my hair so it wont smell bad after i flatten it, but after I flatten it, it always smells burnt! All the girls hair at my school flat iron their hair and it smells like they just got out of the shower! Will the smell of my hair still stay or will it smell burnt?

      Traveling To Europe
No, this will not work in Spain or any other country in Europe. Europe is on a 220 voltage; therefore, you need a converter. Sorry. Have fun though!

Does Your Solia (1 3/4) Get Too Hot To Hold?
I purchased this iron and yes it works great.. but is anyone else having the issue of it getting very hot to hold. I have actually starting using the Ove Glove (made for holding pans from the oven) just so I can hold it long enough to do my hair. My hair is about 6" past my shoulder and thick.. this iron gets so hot its untouchable no matter the temperature setting it gets very hot to hold and do my hair all in one sitting. Wasn't till I starting using the oven glove that I can get it done.

Would like to know if anyone else have experienced this with this iron, I know someone with the 1" and said it does get warm but she can still hold it without burning her hands.

      Too Hot To Hold
I am returning the same iron the I purchased in September. The handle gets too hot to hold and i also have to use something to hold it. I am having a warranty replacement or repair sent to me in exchange.

    Have A Recommendation Between The 1 1/4 Or The 1 3/4?
I'm trying to decide between the two sizes of the Solia flat iron: the 1 1/4 or the 1 3/4? Does anyone have any feedback on how they decided which one? Or even what the differences they noticed using one over the other?
