WanyiPull My Hair Out!Hi,Reply to this post
I bought the Solia but then has to return it cos it snag/pull my hair, which hurt. I really wanted to like this flat iron, but I don't want to be "OUCH" every time I straighten my hair:(. Does anyone else have this problem?Mar 18, 2012Link to this post-
TammyHair PullingI'm wondering if you have a slight crack somewhere. I don't have that problem with hair pulling unless I've dropped my iron and gotten a crack where my hair gets caught. Have you looked to see where it was getting caught? I have bought 4 or 5 now and will not buy another brand. I LOVE my solia. :)Mar 25, 2012Link to this post

AlisonTourmaline Or Not?I just received this product in black in the mail... and I'm wondering if it is mislabeled online? Here on the site it is labeled as "Tourmaline Ceramic", but on the box it says "Professional Ceramic," which leads me to believe the plates do not actually have tourmaline technology. Is this the case?Reply to this postMar 8, 2012Link to this post

Folica BuyerTourmalineThe flat iron is tourmaline ceramic. Further information can be found in the instruction manual that is packaged with the flat iron.Mar 26, 2012Link to this post

Whatwhatinthe----I Would Neither Take Anyone's Word For It Nor Would I Assume....I just received mine too when I noticed the same thing you did (no mention of Tourmaline). I will be sending customer service a long email informing them that not only there is no mention of tourmaline, that this advertisement is not the model that you will actually be getting - product number here shows ST114 but product number on appliance is S114. I also read on Amazon that another consumer had the same question on the "tourmaline" or lack thereof, and according to her, customer service said "they're shipping out all the old inventory packaging before they move on the new stuff." This is false advertisement and fraudulent misrepresentation. If that is what Folica is doing (clearing the old packaging), they need to make it clear and inform customers of such intention. This is not cool cos some people are savvy, do check their product, and did their research before purchasing an item, while others are just too happy to be getting a "great" deal that folica offered.Mar 26, 2012Link to this post
