      Blinking Red Light?
      Hi Elle:
Yes, the blinking red light is totally normal. This just means that the iron has reached the temp. the dial has been set for, and is ready for you to use. When you first turn it on, it will light up red, but not blinking. Make sure you set the dial to the temp. you want and when it gets to that temp., it will flash to let you know it's ready to go. Hope this helps. Peace/love....

      Blinking Red Light?
      Hi, Elle:
When you first turn on the iron, you will see the red light come on. You should turn the dial to the temp. setting you choose; when you see the red light blinking, that means that the iron has reached the desired temp. you selected and the iron is now ready to use, so yes, the blinking light is normal! It just means it has reached whatever temp. it is set for and is ready to use! Good luck....

Actually I think it is normal, because at first I thought mine was tore up. So, my mom called folicia and asked if it was normal, or if we should return it. The lady told us that it was very noraml it was just something about how fast it heated or something to that affect. Anyways we found out from folica that it is normal.

    Curling & Anti-frizz Products
Id like to use this for smoothing out frizz and curling my hair. My curls tend to fall flat within 30 minutes but I dislike the curling sprays that make your hair stiff and crunchy, not to mention flakey build-up. Do you use any products on your dried hair prior to styling with this iron or is that a no-no?
