    Voltage Converter
I have got a Sedu Revolution Tourmaline Ionic Styling Iron and it works with 110-120v. I was wondering if I can use it with 230V with a converter when I am traveling. Thanks

      Converter
We do not recommend using this flat iron with a voltage converter. It may cause damage to the flat iron.

      Never Use Without A Converter
Yes you can use it with a converter. I used it for some three years that way. The converter I used was rather heavy. But the safest. The converter was asked weird questions for when I flew..by the people who check baggage in the airport. Make sure you buy a proper tested converter. Being lazy to carry the heavy converter, I bought a very light weight one like a plug-in, which in minutes made both the plates in my Sedu straightener melt away. I lost my best straightener because the new light weight one didn't step down the current at all. Be very careful to use the right one.

    Defective Sedu Revolution??
Last month I purchased the Sedu Revolution and was so excited to replace my 10+ year old HAI with something better. However, I think I may have gotten a defective iron. The light turns red when it's heating and then starts flashing to the blue/red when ready. However, it keeps going back to red as if it's still heating after it said it was ready! I never increased the temperature. Is this normal or not? (My hair looks less shiny and straight than with my old HAI.) Frustrated! Should I exchange it? Thanks for any input!!

      In My Experience....
I've had two sedu flat irons and still using the 2nd. I believe the light turns color again as it regulates the heat in the iron so as not to get too hot. If you turn your dial back after reaching your regular heat setting it should do the same thing to indicate it's changing temp to lower. This is how mine works and I remember reading it at some point. You can always call and ask CS about it if you truly feel worried, but in my opinion you should be good =) Hope this was helpful.
