This is how I straighten my hair. 1. Wash hair with suave shampoo. 2. Massage alot of suave conditioner in hair. I leave it for about and hour. 3. Rinse condtioner out 4. Spray Biolage thermal treatment on wet hair. 5. Blow dry hair 6. rub kera care creme press into hair 7. Part hair in sections and use kera care for individual sections if needed and begin to straighten hair. After Im done straitghtening my hair I tie it up and then wait untill the next morning and style my hair how I want to. I use the sedu at a temperature of 320.

  • Redken Smoothdown Works Great
I always thought Redken Smoothdown was a hoax, but I realized how to get the most of out this iron through the Redken system. 1. Use Redken Smoothdown Shampoo and Conditioner. The first few times you wash/condition with it, you will not notice too much of a frizz difference. By the 5th-6th time you wash/condition with it, your hair will be amazingly less frizzy and smooth. 2. Put in BioSilk Therapy on wet hair. 3. Iron with Sedu as you like (in sections). 4. Do not spray other things after ironing, because your hair will become oily much more quickly than if you just leave it natural.

  • If You Aren't Happy With Results Yet
My hair is thick, curly, and frizzy (Im Italian). Of course always use good quality products for straightening and moisturizing hair, and leave conditioner in for at least 2-3 minutes. Here are my other tips: 1. Find a hairdresser who understands thick, curly hair. My first salvation was someone who texturized (thinned) my hair. Dont let anyone tell you it isnt good for your hair! My stylist has texturizing scissors that take bigger pieces out. She cuts my hair in layers and then "texturizes" the bottom 1-2 inches of each layer, leaving the ends of each layer thinner so there are not blunt, choppy layers. Thin if I wear my hair curly, the curls taper to a thinner look thats not so thick! 2. Only salon products work well enough for me. I HAVE to have Smoothnn Straightening Balm by Eufora. I use a half-dollar size dollop with about 3-4 drops of Pure Polish by Eufora. Theres nothing like it! 3. My hair wont straighten correctly with drying and ironing alone. I have to dry my hair with a hot air brush first. I have the Hot Tools Ionic Hot Air Brush, which works ok but its a piece of crap. It broke after 2 mos. and I am waiting for my replacement. Find a better one. The Ionic technology helps make my hair smoother. Be sure to pull at the roots while drying before your hair can develop kinks near the head. I dry in sections, starting at the bottom. I put my wet hair up at the top of my head loosely with a clip. If the top hair in the clip starts to dry while Im doing the bottom I re-spray the top w/ water. Once I get a kink in my hair from the clip its very hard to get out! 4. Make sure the sections are SMALL! 5. I have the flat iron plugged in while Im drying. The hot air brush leaves my hair somewhat smooth but a little wavy and the ends still curl up with the hot air brush - not what I want. I then iron the small section BEFORE I EVEN DRY THE NEXT SECTION. If I dry it all then clip it up in sections to iron, I develop kinks where the clip was. It works better if I wash my hair and style in the evening. It usually looks too full for my taste at that point, but after sleeping on it it looks better and I can touch it up the next day. I also put a few drops of Pure Polish on my hands and run them through my dry hair to help. I cant get this iron to slightly curl my ends in or out like Id like so if I want the ends not to be poker straight I have to use a wide barrel (1-1/2 inch) curling iron for finishing touches. Then I dont wash it for 3 days cuz I dont want to go through it again!

  • Wavy Frizzy Hair To Glam Silky Soft Hair
    1. Wash hair with Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner I swear by it. 2. Let hair airdry for ten minutes 3. Add quarter size of BioSilk to hands and smooth over hair 4. Blowdry with Babybliss Carrera Hair Dryer cuts drying time in half. Make sure hair is 100% dry to prevent damage from straightener. 5. Rub minidot of Osis Magic between hands and then over hair. 6. Separate hair into two sections (right side and left) then comb mini sections before straightening with Sedu flat iron.

  • How To Get Straight And Healthy Hair
I wash my hair with Garnier Fructis sleek & smooth shampoo and Neutrogena triple moisture hair mask conditioner. Towel dry and apply hask placenta leave in hair reconstructor and leave on for 3 minutes (this will protect your hair from the heat). Then I apply Garnier Fructis sleek & shine serum (this will keep your hair smooth plus keep your frizz & fly aways in check). I blow dry it with a paddle brush and use my sedu flat iron. It works every time!!!
