  • I Beat Florda's Humidity.
This is how I make my frizzy, curly, wavy hair look awesome even in Floridas humidity! - wash and condition my hair with whatever I have. - Add five to seven pumps of Redkin Smooth Down through wet hair and comb through. - Let hair air dry about half way to save time. - Blow dry with round or paddle brush depending on the look you want. - Dry hair completly! - lightly pull up your hair so you can flat iron small sections of your hair from the bottom layers up, moving slowly on each section each section needs two or three passes. - I like to finish my hair with Citra Shine Shine spray! If your hair frizzes you need to move a little slower on each piece.

  • What Works For Me...
I use Pantene Pro V Hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Then I put Pantene Spray Leave-In Conditioner. I also alternate with Ojon shampoo and conditioner which u can order which u can get online. I do not blow dry my hair. I let it air dry, usually overnight. Then, I just brush out my hair and take my hair in sections like the directions say and use my sedu. It took me about 15 min. My hair looks like I went to the salon and got it done.

  • What Works Best For Me...
I have really curly, frizzy and difficult to manage hair and Im rican so Im not blessed with healthy looking hair...But what really really works for me and it looks like i just stepped out of a salon: -Wash my hair with Dove Shampoo -Condition with Dove Intense Conditioning(leave for 5 minutes) -Let hair air dry -Add a quarter size amount of Frizz Ease or Biosilk(both work really good) -Straighten in Sections Dont spray with sheen or anything because it gets oily pretty quickly.

  • Experiment
When I first recieved my sedu I was very unhappy with it. It didnt straighten half as well as I thougt it would...I was all set to return it, but my friends said I should experiment with it, that maybe I just had to learn and get my routine down pat. I am so happy I took their advice! With this routine I get silky, straight, shiny perfectly straight flawless hair every time! 1. Wash with Phyto organics Hydruss moisturizing shampoo (by Nexxus) 2. Condition with Phyto Organics Nectaress nourishing conditioner (also by Nexxus) 3. towel dry hair. 4. smooth a nickel sized amount of chi silk infusion. 5. blow dry hair straight with a roundbrush that has 100% natural boars hair bristles 5. Spray on Chi 44 Heat guard iron spray (not too much or else your hair will sizzle when you straighten, just a lgiht spritz on all sides of your head-also wait a good two minutes after spraying) 6. Iron with the sedu (i gather my hair in a ponytail and bring down sections one at a time to ensure I get them all smooth and straight) If you want you can finish with a bit more silk infusion. Its also important to take good care of your hair. I go for trims every six weeks to remove split ends. I also deep condition with Redken Butter Treat 2-3 xs a week...Or sometimes I use Loreal Unfrizz deep conditioning treatment (it comes in little packets that you can get for 2.50 at your beauty supply store) I also try to be sure to do protein treatments once a week. I use Redken Deep Fuel. Good luck!
