    Flat Iron Clueless Girl
Some say never to use products in your hair before flat ironing because it will burn/fry your hair, especially oil. Yet I read reviews and most people seem to use some type of "heat protectant". Is it a question of quantity? My hair is curly. Therefore, the recommendation that I often see, to use a "dime" size, seems impossible as that would only spread over 1/5 of my hear, just one section because the product cannot slide. I have just bought a SEDU but I am so confused about the process (for using products) before and after that I have not used it yet. Please help!!!! I am flat iron clueless.

    Curling Hair
    Hi,

I was wondering if this flat iron can be used to curl hair/make waves. Has anyone done that? Thank you!

      Waves
This product can be used to make waves and curls but it is much easier to create that look with a different type of flat iron. Typically flat irons with curled edges allow for more versatile styling. This sedu product has curved edge plates:

Can The Sedu Withstand Alot Of Pressure When Straightening?
Hi there. I am seriously considering purchasing this iron. However, I do have a question but only for people who have used this iron. When ironing, I have a tendency to clamp down very hard on the handles when moving it down my hair. I bought the maxiglide a few years back and returned it because I could barely press down on it and I got terrible results. If I can't push down hard on the Sedu i may not want to buy it. Can anyone help me?

Also, I may not be explaining my question well. If I am not, please let me know and I will try to rephrase it. Thanks.
