Which Is Best Sedu Flat Iron 1"1/2 Or 1" Or Dual Voltage?
I am shopping for a hair straightener and i"ve heard the Sedu flat iron is excellent. I have a meduim fine natural curly hair and i couln't find any best flat iron. Also, I am looking for the dual voltage that can be use in the Philippines. Which is better results to use the regular sedu flat iron 11/2 ceramic plate that i can use a converter or to get the dual voltage? Please i need help before i have to buy which is best. Need an answer before i travel. Thank you.

      Dual Voltage
I recently used a Sedu in the Philippines. It was not dual voltage, so I used a converter and it still burned up, so I would definitely go dual voltage if you can.

    Problems With Cords?
Hi, I've read reviews on the Sedu Pro Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron (1 1/2") and I'm kinda uneasy about my purchase. Reason being is that multiple people are complaining about the cord. Does anyone know what NOT to do to the cord so it wont break? Also I heard you can't twist the cord or else it will break? Is it true? Thanks so much for an answer :) I cant wait till it gets here I HATE my current one >.<

      Reply To Sedu Cord
My second one just died just a month over the 2 year warranty which was about the same as the first. The first I would gently wrap the cord around the protective pad when storing but the second one was ALWAYS left out and the cord not bent. I am 43 and take very good care of my stuff, so disappointing.

      Replies To Problems With Cords
The flat iron come in a box where the cord is already bent. To avoid shortage I would avoid wrapping the cord. However since the cord is not a swivel cord it naturally wraps while styling you hair. The best advice I have is not to store it in the box because that is where my iron stayed a majority of the time and now it has a short. I would suggest storing the cord loosely. Hope this helps !

      Best Flat Iron Ever!!
The old Sedu's cord used to turn where the cord meets the base of the iron, and for that reason my first one stopped working because the wires inside broke. This did not deter me from purchasing another Sedu and to my great surprise, they had improved this problem by replacing it with a non-movable cord. Voila! Problem fixed and I've had my iron for years! I can't say enough good things about it. My hair is never frizzy, it gives me the perfect sleek, soft and silky hair I want to achieve. I give this iron an A+ and suggest it to absolutely anybody and everybody! Enjoy!!

      Switch!
definitely make the switch, the chi never worked for me but the Sedu has and it's so light you'll be amazed. I have very coarse, thick hair too.

    Sedu Tourmaline Wattage/amperage
I bought a Sedu Tourmaline iron from the US but it's 110 volts and won't work in India (220 volts). Can anyone tell me what the wattage on the iron is so I can buy a step down transformer/voltage converter for it?
