Beth[:IowaYes, but its hard to style with short hair. The size makes it akward! I just switched from the MaxiGlide to the Solia. I would go with the Solia! [:Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

LakynDallas, TexasLongetivity?Has anyone actually had this straightener for more than a year? Ive read everything about how it doesnt last and I think its because it leaks, so I dont use the steam. But is there anything else that could contribute to that? Does it just suck? Or was it solely because of the leaking and changing the temperature too much?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Beatriz SantiagoI have had the maxiglide since the beginning of 2006 and not only I use it but my daughter and my sister, I have never had a problem with leaks nor has it broken down on me, I love the maxiglide to the point that I dont even look towards my blower anymore. My sister just decided to order one last week. In conclusion I dont regret getting it I think its a blessing.Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

SandyMaxiglide Vs Miniglide?I have fine hair that is medium length and only the top few layers frizz and curl. Regular straighteners work pretty well on my hair but I feel if they had "teeth", it would go a lot easier and work better. Im wondering if I need the expense of the maxiglide, or would the miniglide be ok along with the Beyond Straight and the End serum? Basically, is the steam necessary to prevent the frizz?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post
