AmandaIs It Worth The Money? My hair is very thick and wavy but not like the tv commercial girls and with the wet to straight i have to go over the same piece or hair about 5-8 times before it gets straight and its getting curlier so i dont straighten it as much. Will this work in one or two strokes?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

MichelleIs It Worth The Money?I actually have both irons- Wet to Straight and the maxiglide. I have used the Wet to Straight once, and it wouldnt straigten my hair even after 5-8 times!!! And it really cant be that great for your hair if its sucking the moisture out. WIth the maxiglide I go over 1-2 times, and it ADDS moisture with the new steam system. Its really great, youll love it!! ITs deffinitely worth the investment, since cheap irons tend to be damaging and not workFeb 25, 2010Link to this post

SamanthaIs It Worth The Money?I havent bought one yet, but I thought you might like to know that applying any type of heat to wet hair (including blowdriers) - but especially something hot which makes direct contact with hair - will singe and/or remove moisture from the hair. Think about it - what happens to water when it hits a burner? It turns into steam and disappears (evaporates). When there is moisture in the air, this is called humidity. So really, by causing that moisture from your hair to float up into the air around you, you are frying your hair and creating your own little humid environment around your head - which, for us frizzy-headed girls, isnt a good thing. Hope this helps! :)Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

Tammy JenkinsChildrens HairI have a two year old (going on three. She has very curly dry hair and is sometimes unmanageable. Ive tried straighting her hair with a curling iron but I dont really like using those type of thing on her hair with her being so young. Would the Maxiglide be safe for her hair? I dont want her hair falling out. I just need something for her that would be safe. Please help.Thank you Tammy JenkinsReply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post
