Please Clean After Use...Once you have turned it off and unplugged it from the wall. When it has cooled down to normal temperature clean with a cotton ball with ahcohol. I do this every other time I use the Corioliss Flat Iron and I have owned it for over 3 years and no problems.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post

Not The Iron, But The UserI have been reading some of the reviews for Corioliss flat irons, and am amused by the claims that this iron caused hair to be dry, frizzy, broken. As a hairstylist, I know that the problem is not with the flat iron, which is doing what it claims to do..reach high temperatures, 410 degrees I believe. The problem is people using this flat iron at home are not protecting their hair from the very high heat. Before flat ironing, you should make sure your hair is completely dry. Comb out a 2 in section and spray the section with hairspray. This will protect your hair from heat damage, and breakage. It will also cause steam, which is scary when you see it coming from your head, but it is ok, steam is good when using a heat protect ant. I would also recommend moving the iron through your hair slowly, that way you do not have to go over the section repeatedly. Damaged or bleached hair should use a lower temperature. Heat damage is irreparable, so be careful, and be beautiful!Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post
