KatieSedu Or ChiI really want to buy a new straightner. But I dont know which to buy because both the Sedu and CHi straitners have great reviews. My hair is really curly, and I want a straitner that does the job fast and well.. which do you recommend??Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

LeahChi Vs. SeduI replaced my CHI with a Sedu.. I just got the Sedu today so I can't comment on it. I LOVED my CHI... I had it or three years before it gave out. The reason I replaced it with a Sedu vs. another CHI is not because of its performance, but because of its poor design. The cord rotates and the rotation inside of the flat iron constantly knocked something out... in order to get the CHI to turn on, it was a constant battle of playing with the cord and pulling on it... when you need to get ready for work or whatever, you don't have time to do this every day. I was not the only person who had this problem with the CHI... that is why I decided to go with the Sedu. The Sedu is backed by a better warranty than the CHI as well. FWIW, my hair is very curly and a little past shoulder length. Blow dry and straighten hair time usually takes me around half an hour.. not too bad considering how great my hair looks when I am done.Feb 17, 2011Link to this post

MaryOhioYou actually have to get an iron that is going to work for YOU and benefit YOU in the long run. Remember just because a certain product may work for that person may not work for you. People have to realize that everyones hair type is different. In my opinion the CHI nano works very well on my hair and leaves it soft and very silky.Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

MelissaDoes It Damage HairI have pretty curly hair, and I enjoy wearing it curly although sometimes i would like to have it straight. My question is, will straightening my hair over time damage my hair? Or if I try and wear it curly will it eventually not look as good, as it did before I began straighening it?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post
