      ye it does both! it is soooo easy to curl your hair with this. you start out like your straigtening then when you get to about half way down you turn it around with the hair still in and continue to the end. there are videos on youtube its really simple!

      Call the manufacturer @ 1-800-543-3387. They told me with a dry clothe. If too stubborn, then a little alchol.
