      Does Fake Bake Wipe Off With Sweat & Swimming, Etc.
      Tryed other self tanners, but all when I am working out, sweating, etc...Rub off on all clothes & run on skin. NOT Attractive at all. Please help.

    Olive Skin?
    Ive read the amazing ratings about fake bake, and Im more than excited to give it a try. Ive been using the TAN-TOWEL sunless self-tanners, and so far, its been working great. However, it leaves me kind of orange. Its not too bad, but Id rather have a brown-golden looking glow. Im wondering if it is due to my olive complexion. I am asian, and over time, I have realized that not many products work as well on asian skin than on others. Could this be the case only on Tan-Towel products? Im hoping that if youre someone with olive complexion and have used this product, you can help me out! Thanks so much!

    Fake Bake Turning Green
    Hi,Would just like to know if anyone else has experienced this with their fake bake? When i apply it to my face it tends to stain my skin green with no brown colour at all left once washed...am i doing something wrong? Please reply!!! Thanks :)

      Your Fake Bake is OUT OF DATE!! It only lasts 12 months as it has natural ingredients. You need to throw it away Im afraid. I turned my whole body green then looked on the internet. I googled Fake Bake green and quickly found out it was out of date so i quickly jumped in the bath, lol!!! One lady turned BLUE and had to have a day off work! Sue Ford

    I use this product once a week on my legs and I do touch ups with either Tan Towel or Comodynes tan-towelettes. These are a really simple and quick way to maintain a healthy glow and not have to spend 30 minutes applying the lotion every night!!

  • Fake Bake Application
    1. Exfoliation is key. I simply mix 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of oil (olive, baby, almond...whatever you like or have on hand)-the grittier the better. I personally do this in the a.m. to prep my skin for the Fake Bake application later that evening before bed. 2. Clean skin, free of moisturizers or other products. Ive found that I acheive the best results if I apply the product on freshly cleansed skin, free of moisturizers or other products-so yes, this means a second shower just before applying the product. 3. Gloves are a must. The first time I applied the product with gloves, I couldnt tell how well I was getting the product smoothed in-this gets easier with each application as theres variance with every products consistency. 4. Smooth product into the skin in a circular motion ensuring even application. 5. When Ive completed all areas except my gloved hands, Ill take a cotton ball and rub the product onto my hands and fingers. I also use this method on my feet so I dont over-apply in the ankle area. 6. Theres no hard and fast rule that says you have to apply the product before bed. Thats my personal choice because the DHA (dihydroxyaceton-that causes skin to "tan") has a distinct odor that I find unpleasant. The product has rubbed off onto my sheets many times, never once staining them. 7. When you shower or bathe the next a.m., you will see color washing off of you-this is the color guide which aids you in application in blending in well. 8. If you use AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and/or BHA (beta hydroxy acid) products, you will need to reapply Fake Bake more frequently.
