Deb W.NycCaution! For best results soak feet first in water as hot as you can bear then use the razor on softened skin. Use a sidewards sweeping motion for the sides of feet--DO NOT aim shaver downward. Use downward motion only on back of heels. I do shave somewhat 'live' skin. I shave the sides of my big toe, on top of my toes, because the skin tends to get hard. I shave the ball of my foot coming as close to the point where the underside of my foot meets toes. Perhaps these areas, are best left to a podiatrist, but after getting my nails and feet done at a $100 bucks a pop, I learned a few things from the truly expert manicurists in the business. I shave those areas with extreme caution ALWAYS making certain that the hand holding the shaver is completely dry and that my grip is firm.Reply to this post
Shave lightly at first and as you become more confident you can apply more pressure. There is definitely a learning curve here. Be patient and cautious and remember, you have in your hand one of the best tools in the business. Good LuckAug 17, 2010Link to this post -
