Yes, you can definitely use another brand of primer before your Luminess foundation if you desire. Please know that we do not recommend you applying any of your conventional cosmetics with our airbrushing system as this will void your manufacturers warranty. Glennda D.KSWonderful Product, Professional Results!I use the primer and like it very much. I was a dedicated BE user until a friend gave me a starter kit. I have always loved makeupapplication and now have many requests to apply other's makeup for special occasions. Remeber, you didn't know how to ride a bicycle the first time. It took practice. So does this. Don't use too much product, don't get too close with the airbrush. Go slow and build the coverage you want or you'll have a mess instead of a flawless look.

LaurenNew York, NYLuminess FoundationI would only recommend using Luminess foundation with this system. Their make-ups are water based and go on beautifully.
