JuliaNew And Old ProductsSeveral reviews said that the old product was better than the new product... Im not sure but is the brown colored GiGi Brazilian set different from the GiGi strip free honee wax set? I know they have different before and after products but has anyone tried them both and found the waxes different?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

AgWhy'd It Go Gooey?I started off and it was working just fine. Perhaps not taking off quite as much hair as i would like, but hey my firs time and it was pretty quick and painless...THEN! for some reason it started drying funny, instead of getting hard for easy pull factor, it turned to goo which hurts like a B*tch to pull off cuz it gets all tangled in the hair, and i just ended up cutting some of it off. Tried it a few times, what went wrong?? I was so happy with the first few strips...Is it cuz i used too much oil? or perhaps reheating it made it go funny?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Thick Is Key!When I first tried this product, I was FURIOUS because I thought it was supposed to be applied like other waxes, thinly. Because I made this mistake, the wax was too thin to pull of in one piece. Also, it dried very quickly, which is a no no. It was a horrible mess, and would not come off my skin. Since then, I have realized the error in my ways and learned how to correctly apply hard wax. Since this is a hard wax, meant to be used without strips, it must be applied with a thick coat. About 1/8" thick. Apply it in the direction of hair growth. Small sections are the best when learning how to do this properly, then you can move up to larger areas. Dont touch it until it looks slightly opaque, then, with the palm of your hand, gently press the area. The wax should still be slightly warm and tacky. Do no let it cool completely because you will never get it off. Now flick up the end, grab, and JERK in the opposite direction of hair growth. Voila! Hair free beautiful skin. Use the Wax Off lotion to get the residue off of your skin. Dont forget the No Bump astringent to prevent ingrown hairs!Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post

Removing Excess WaxUse acetone nail polish remover. Sumberge skin in bowl of nail polish remover or use drenched cotton balls to wipe off wax. It works.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post
