TanealCanadaUsing A Warmer??I have used this waxing kit once and found it to work quite well but the wax cools off and needs to be microwaved again. One poster suggested using a warmer but I don't know which is best or how to use a warmer. Do you remove the wax from the container and put it in the warmer or do you put the whole container in the warmer? what about the handle on the wax container for microwaving?? I was looking at the warmers on folica but don't know which one to buy. I don't want to waste my money. Any suggestions??Reply to this postAug 27, 2011Link to this post

HarperBean Town, BostonWaxing.....I hope this little hint helps you, instead of going out and purchasing some expensive warmer you can just purchase a small crock pot. Sometimes when you purchase a big crock pot you get a small crock pot for free. Also the small crock pots work well for your smelling oils, tarts, candles, and anything even cheese for a fondu, chocolate for dipping. Good Luck I hope this helped you and anyone else........:-)Mar 3, 2013Link to this post

MollieMassYesIf you can use it on your bikini area you can definitely use it on your legs, armpits, etc. The fact that the wax can stand up to this body region means that you will have no problem on other body parts.Apr 16, 2012Link to this post

Linda JamesCan I Have Sex With My Partner The Day I Wax?I was reading about the discomfort from Brazillian waxing. I am doing this for my husband. Will it create a problem for me should we have relations the same day? Much appreciated!Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Nancy D.ChicagoNot A Good Idea To Get Frisky AfterwardsIn order to minimize the potential for minor infection (soreness, redness, bumps, etc.), it is best that you try to avoid touching the area for a couple of days after waxing. Your (as is everyone's) skin is constantly covered with bacteria, and waxing (or any other procedure which damages the skin) reduces your body's ability to fight off this bacteria. Not trying to gross you out, but hygienically speaking "fooling around" immediately after waxing would be nearly identical to cleaning up a paper cut by rubbing it in another person's sweaty armpit, only worse because there are so many more fascinating bacteria that live in the nether regions of your body. EWWWW! On side note, I would be very impressed if you even felt like doing anything frisky for at least one day, especially if it is your first time. Good luck!Sep 30, 2010Link to this post
