BeanardPhiladelphiaDont Give Up On It. It Works For Most.Hey, I started losing my hair on the top and back of my head. I am a African American man (24 years old) I started using Rogaine, and like many wanted to see results immediately. That didn't happen, but I got use to applying it everyday and night. About 3-4 months later my bald spots were completely filled in. I was shocked, and very happy. Pay close attention to what I'm going to say next. ATTENTION!!! I was so excited about my hair re growing. I stopped using Rogaine. Very bad idea. My hair went back to how it was, probably even worse. I'm now in my second month of using it again. Haven't seen any results yet, but hope I do. Has anyone done the samething? I'm hoping that if it worked for me once it will work again. And trust me, if it does I will never stop using it again lol. Hope this helps someone. Rogaine does not work for everyone. But the key is consistency. Good luck thinning family.Reply to this postFeb 14, 2012Link to this post

O. O'neillHow Often Do You Need To Apply Rogaine Twice A Day After The Initial Three Month Period?I am trying to find out directions for continued use of Rogaine Extra Strength (or regular Rogaine) for men, but am unable to find this on your site. I understand that Rogaine needs to be applied twice a day for the first 3 months. So my questions are: Twice a day for how much longer than 3 months? Do the applications decrease after a certain length of time? For example, do the required applications decrease to say once a week at some point or will the application be required twice a day forever? My husband is almost completely hairless on the entire top of his head and the crown area and is about 50% gray. The hair on the sides of his head and back area is very thick and healthy. He is 59 years.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Steve EHow Old ??????Im 64 but have always had a good amount of hair. Over the past year I have noticed some hair thinning in the vortex. My hair grows well and I am happy to have what I have but would like to stop the thinning and hopefully get some of the growth back. I have always maintained a healthy life style. Am I being realistic ????Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post
