ErinWell...The bleach is permanent. Once you bleach all the color out of your hair you might as well go to a salon to have them put some filler. When I bleach for colors I tend to get a henna dye after the color has washed out. It's good for your hair and helps nurture your hair back to health.Mar 31, 2012Link to this post

Jennifer C.Los Angeles, CAIt's BleachBleach removes your natural hair color. there's nothing to last... once your hair color is removed, it's gone. your roots will grow out and that will be your natural hair color.. your roots begin to be noticeable in around a month or so.Nov 25, 2011Link to this post

Shypie*bleached Hair*when you bleach your hair it takes the color out of that one spot... as your hair grows, the color will return... but the bleached hair will stay bleached... the bleached hair grows out... (did the purple in my hair)Jul 27, 2011Link to this post

RihannaAustinQuestion!Hi I wonder after 4-6 weeks, is the color totally removed from hair? or it just doesn't shine like before? (I want to buy the red one)Reply to this postFeb 15, 2011Link to this post

SammiCarefully Read The DirectionsI've used a lot of different dyes, and i think that the color isn't removed from your hair,it just fades. that's why it says it last for a couple weeks,it means that the color will fade, but its not totally gone from your hair.it just changes a few shades.if you dye it again when it fades it will most likely go back to what it looked like before.but if you're going to use splat, read the directions carefully!most of the reason people are displeased with this brand is because of the timing. I've had that experience,i was trying to dye half my head purple and my cousin who was helping me dye it didn't listen to me and read the directions and my head ended up pink(this was with a different brand called Raw,but its a great dye too).the best way to make sure its going well it to take a small patch from your hair when you're dyeing it and check the coloring of it.do this routinely!otherwise you don't know what going on with it,and this rule is most important when you're bleaching.good luck! :)Apr 11, 2013Link to this post

CeciliaDying Your Hair RedWhen you dye your hair a vibrant red, no matter what hair dye brand or even getting it dyed professionally, the color fades VERY quickly. I have red hair and I try to wash my hair only three times a week. (When I shower the other days I wear a shower cap.) It may sound "gross" but it's not. It actually makes your hair healthier and it'll grow a lot faster. Anyways, I wash my hair only three times a week and my red turns into a dark orange color within about three weeks. Red is a color that needs a lot of touch ups and has to be kept up with. So to answer your question, it most likely will have lost it's color without you retouching it.Feb 4, 2013Link to this post

HaydenLasts A Long TimeI used the pink and dark blue, after four weeks, the colours were still very vibrant, but not nearly as much as they had been. It all depends on how often you wash you hair. I washed mine every two days.Sep 7, 2012Link to this post

Jennifer C.Los Angeles, CAHow Long It LastsWell, I'm always trying to keep the color in long as possible. If you shampoo every day, and use a color with red in it, it will probably fade but you might still see some color in it if you have bleached your hair to the point that you are blonde. I bleach my hair then color it, and because splat is pretty safe unlike other hair colors, I actually brush in some splat before I go out for touch ups with a toothbrush, until my next shower. A lot of the color does fade rather quickly with the pink./ but it's really the best kit i've ever used for such bright colors. The brighter the color, the less fade-resistant. so think that if you wanted a highlighter or flourescent pink - i believe the reddish colors like violet fade even more noticeably. Depending on the color, and how damaged your hair is or isn't,, and how often you wash etc... are all factors. So I say it's the best choice because of the brightness and because it lasts long as it actually does. the more bright or flourescent it seems, the more easily it will fade.Nov 25, 2011Link to this post
